brake boosting a TT 350z.
No worries, I thank you and Quadcam for chiming in with ideas-tapping 3 or 4 wires is part of testing right? From now on, it should be VERY clear what people need to do. I'll report back after 4:30 with my impressions/more pics, video to come later. My tires are kinda bald and I lose a$$ anywhere in 2nd (low boost), Im scared if I brake boost from 3rd I'll be spinning sideways quick, we will see
Yes, it is part of testing, and that is why we stress that all wires should be verified with a meter before making connections. We've had countless modules destroyed by Honda Accord owners because they tap the wrong wire with one of our modules - to the point that we actually redesigned our hardware to allow it to survive the direct short to 12VDC the people are subjecting it to!
Thank you for taking the time to figure this out, I'm sure it will help many people in the future. It is also nice to see that you tapped it without removing the UTEC, I never actually explored where the ECU wireing came in from.

2nd that, thnx alberto. With me having the utec and hate dealing with wires you made it a good bit easier
No problem guys...it is super easy and right in plain sight above the UTEC within easy access as you can see. I followed the wires from the stock ECU harness back up and thats where they led after going through a white plastic connector/relay in the pass kick panel. I'll report back later...
Ok, it works as advertised! Its weird brake boosting in this car, Ive tried before obviously with no success. It doesnt take as much brake pressure as I thought to build full boost from a roll. Below are pics of the brake wire cut/tapped with the brake module (stock cut wire circled in red), then how I secured the unit with the zip ties to the metal support behind the dash. In case of any issues the unit is still in reach (once I take out the 3 10MM bolts) yet out of the way and so is the fuse
Any Q's feel free to ask, I did a few 2nd/3rd gear tests, its rush hour so I cant get any videos yet....thanks again Kevin!

Ha, your driver kick panel is pretty busy. Mine is installed down in the kick where I can access it easily.
Sounds like you had some fun!
We are still waiting on confirmation from someone with an Auto tranny before we start selling these. I just got off the phone with SFLG35 and I think he is going to go install his right now.

alright test runs went great. spun all the way to redline sittin still with the brake on. ill take a video tomorrow cause im sure it will be raining again. and get teh pictures and video up
After a few more pulls tonight, you def need to hold the brake down hard while moving lol. Earlier I was building boost but accelerating like10mph per second. 3rd gear at 70mph with 13psi =
Cant wait to brake boost at 15psi and 570ft/lbs

alright here are my pictures
1. cut the pink/blue wire in half. connect the orange wire to the pink/blue wire that goes into the ecu

2. connect the purple wire to the pink/blue wire that goes up the harness towards the brake peddle

3. connect the yellow wire to the white/blue wire. make sure you have the correct white/blue wire there is 2 of them in the harness.

4. connect the black wire to the thick black wire in the harness. there were two of them as well in my harness. it is best to use the one in pin 1.

Yeah, like Dan said, MY Cruise is no longer functioning and i'm not very happy about that as I use it EVERY DAY. I sure hope I don't have warranty issues if I go to the Dealership to get a scan. Please enlighten us about this so-called problem, thanks!!
I press the on/off button for the Cruise, the Cruise Green Light comes on, and the Set Green Button just flashes and won't set or anything at all. It won't set, cancel, or anything really, just keeps on flashing SET until I turn the Cruise off, cause there is nothing else to do.
