I have 100 miles on my rear tires, so I wasn't getting much traction in 2nd gear. I think it would have been dead even if I wouldn't have spun. My car trapped 116mph on Wednesday night, so there's no doubt the STS car that I raced is pretty quick!

Did he trapped with his old setup before PF get to re-tune his car?

Nice to see some trap speed. I missed the Domestic Vs Import today at E-Town. I was so curious what will be my trap and if the Rear-Mount can actually perform in a 1/4 mile setup. I know in the freeway it is quick but don't know if the small lag in first will hurt the time. Do you have any Dyno and 1/4 mile time?

TN customer service not only exists but has gotten high regard in the community.

and this is only one kit, plenty of others out there. though they will be a little pricier, its well worth it considering what you get with the STS. not trying to bash any owners of the STS, just my take on it
STS is no better than any kit and just another option for FI. TN has good service but they too had some problem when they started (Turbo Seal Problem, Wastegate pipe falling apart, AC line burning, Over boost problem....etc) Now STS has one blown Engine and still we don't know if this is a UTEC, Injector or Install ERRROOR. One of the customers rushed in to the forum and posted the problem even before giving STS a chance to fix it. As far as I know, 2 customers who had issues, 1 who had 5 injectors stuck Open (STS agreed to take back the kit) and 1 Order Cancellation problem has been resolved.

You guys can bash all you want and you don't have to buy the kit. All I can say that all current owners are all happy or at least satisfied with the kit. Now that PF has proven that this kit can produce power in the same level as other ST kit out there, then STS should be given credit for building a unique and reliable kit.All tester here have their car for over 6-10 months and so far no problem with the Turbo or any part of the kit.

I have been boosted for almost a year now with the sts kit...I have rarely driven my car lately but during the time of boost i managed to do 15K miles on the car. It is a unique system. They sell universal kits all the time....they just recently sold 2 kits to crossfire owners

My next car whether it be a viper, corvette, escalade ext...etc will get the STS treatment

They have not agreed to take my kit back yet. The UTEC and injectors are in the testing stage and should be done either today or tomorrow and I will let you guys know what we have found.

On what tires?

So you're saying your 355 whp would have kept up with his 409 whp? Or were these videos before the 409 whp tune?

/\ +1 From a Roll, STS should be on it's power band. I don't think your 355whp on a G35 can keep up with 409whp 350Z (and that is with tires spinning right?). I know he used to run around 36Xwhp before the tune.

My car made 355whp @ 8psi on Jeremy's dyno in August, before our last track day when I ran a 12.2 @ 115mph. THe STS car made 409whp at 10psi on Jeremy's dyno on Friday night. Saturday, we compared our cars and you saw the results. His car no traction issues. My car spun through 2nd gear, so I had to feather the gas in 2nd. You saw the results...

I went to the track on Wendesday and ran a 12.4 @ 116mph with a only a 2.0 60' on 265/45/18 BFG DRs...I know I can't launch

I just got off the phone with Bill a couple of hours ago and it seems that there are two cars that broke into the 400+ one was jons of course and there is another one.

Also the intercooler is almost complete should be done in the next couple of days it sounded like.

Yeah, in the second vid my traction was even worse. I wish we would have went from a higher roll to see how it would have evened out...or even if it would have?

Jeremy said that his car is not hitting Full Boost at 2nd and 3rd (Assuming his full boost is 10psi) if you started higher then he'll probably hurt you when he get all 10psi at 4th gear

Not sure what kind of Testpipe and Y-pipe the STS car is running. Maybe the diameter is hurting him more and that is why he's not hitting full boost at 3rd gear.

Well you need to even the playing ground so up your boost to 10psi and you'll probably win

car is running 2.25 inch test pipes and stock y pipe i believe. the 2.25 inch test pipes help hit higher boost in first and second for me and improve spool time over 2.5 inch test pipes and larger y pipe
