i cant help or monitor what everyone else says on here. if there are cocky peoples cars we have done and they talk trash, i have no control over it. please associate anything i say personally directly with Performance Factory.... anything else associate with that person please.

And you PF guys - why not go up to the MD track meet on the 21st that aceman has set up? It would be great to see some vids of that...

As far as the FL guys, most of them are cool, but Im tired of all these guys calling everybody out all the damn time, only Jeremy and AJ and the one guy on N20 have run good times, everybody else in FL sucks their taint and thinks they can drive too-it gets old To the guy who thinks Id lose to a stock block TN + N20 your smoking crack-he's a perfect example of what Im talking about above. You lose by default that car was blown up...keep the calling out to the drag forum or your own threads

I hope you weren't directing that comment towards me.I don't think its calling you guys out, its just trying to get some good drag racers together.BTW I've been drag racing since the late 70's and have driven some 8 sec.cars.I have a Mustang sitting in my garage right now that will be running low 8's in the near future.And your right no more comments from me unless its in the drag section

 

It was directed at one350zfan who thinks his 11.8 with 150 shot is fast. Guy here in MD ran 12.0 with 100 shot his first time out with his set-up lol. Recently the PF guys have started dropping comments to people, we can all have different set-ups and run good times (or bad!) without always turning threads into PF vs FP or any shop combo. You guys always call me out to your track day if you come up to MD I'll pay for your runs, with that said FL guys wont take advantage of that because I think all of them but 1 are FOS...

 

I too get tired of the trash talking. Goto the road/autocross forum, and nobody talks crap....its just a different mentality I guess. And people tend to lie about their mods and conveniently leave out their car's weight and setup...when they post about how great their times are. As far as I am concerned, nobody has done 10's without nitrous, and nobody has done 11 flat on a stock block without it either. It's starting to become very VRT'esque....IMHO. Good times...are good times...but exageration about what it took to get there...is self-serving.

It's like saying that my girlfriend is fat....and than putting a smiley at the end and a j/k....its still f'ed up.

Like I mentioned earlier...everyone is practicing, and trying to become faster...whether it is at the 1/4 mile track, or the circuit course. IMHO, trash talking has no place here. I've said it before..and I will say it again: The guys that talk the least, are usually the fastest...silent but deadly.

OK I lied I will make one more comment..My intentions were to never make it a PF vs FP thing.It was strictly to try and get the so called best racers from all over to come to Florida.Whats the difference between you "calling out" the Fl. guys to come to MD and you'll pay for their runs and us FL guys trying to get some guys to come to FL.Sharif..of course drag racers are a different mentality. Its like being a 100meter world class sprinter and saying your the fastest guy on the planet.Thats just drag racing.Go to some big NHRA drag meets and watch the fireworks that go on between crews.I've seen some pretty good fights in the pits. I agree there are the so called drag gurus on this site that are FOS.

I made that offer as a counter to your offers. Why would I drive 13 hours to a track? Id love to get all of the so called drag racers out together also but chances are slim to none that it would happen. You guys know that yet you have made that offer to me at least 10x in the past month. It gets old, you know we arent driving down, I know your not driving up, why keep it going?

 

Here comes the FL crew I swear they all call each other and gang up on people in threads like this...funny no FL guys even posted anything in this thread other than Jereme before the race now that its "drag talk" they are all bad a$$ and in here calling people out.

One Florida guy calls someone out and they you generalize them all together in this thread. I haven't seen any other Florida guys calling out anyone in this thread. I seen a call out on this page but it didn't come from Florida.

 

There have been 3 call outs in regard to drag racing in this thread. The page I see it on could be different than what you see it on. Started with Jeremy-at first he asked for times, then coach with the usual "come down to FL" then one350z fan making nuthugger comments regarding AJ's car. Then you have Craig with his usual great contribution, and then you making a comment about Sharif indirectly calling out J and AJ, I dont think that was his intention he simply stated a valid opinion, BUT I dont want to speak for him so I could be wrong. I doubt he'd call somebody out when he isnt even a drag racer and just got done saying the trash talk has no place here...regardless, this thread is OT now, and it happened after most of the FL guys started posting.
