Cux how'd those fenders go down for ya?
I'm going to get a set, I cut welded and ghetto painted my fenders because I WAS going to go widebody, but don't want to *** with it anymore.
I'm running 18x10.5 305 +22 (I think +22 don't remember), and on the stock suspension rubbing wasn't the worst I've seen (then again, after riding in my friend's absolutely landfill dumped civic to wekfest and back, nothing rubs anymore!). You definitely could roll the fenders and get away with it.

waiting for the fenders to be delivered.
Rolled fenders already.

Other option was to pick up some +30mm rear gt-s wheels.

Going to try to flare the fenders first and if that doesnt work, install the wide fenders.

She is back on the chopping board! Upgrading the turbos and going to run custom oil feed lines.

Also the future plan:

The engine still needs to see some kind of power through it! I have been battling an oil leak for the longest time. I am not going to send it to the shop until the leak is solved. Maybe 1k miles of runtime.

I hope that tearing into the bay to get to the turbos will reveal a possible source. There are only two fittings I have not replaced that came with the used kit i bought. They are getting replaced now! Going to also redo the power steering lines.

Maybe by the end of april shell be on here way to get tuned on the new turbos.

Then its the air cup suspension and the body work. Need the air cups to make it into my driveway with my lowered stance that I want to run.

Was so much easier with the engine pulled!

If I had the tools ( tranny jack, engine stand and cherry picker) I could have the engine out by now and be one my way.

FML the inside nut on the turbine housing. I just cant get an angle. Spent 85 bucks at northern tool on crows feet, special wrenchs, wobbles, ujoint 12mm ect........no dice. Going to have to get a frakensocket made.

I took a wrench and bent it in a half moon shape with a slight twist.

Taking some spare wrenches to work today to get them welded.

Plan is to weld a socket to a 12point closed wrench. Essentially making an extended crows foot that will completely capture the nut.

success is the only option

Frankenwrench is a socket welded to a 12mm wrench. Worked great on the drivers side from below. Tough, but worked on the passenger side coming from the top. Wife helped me on the passenger side! If you come from the top, righty tighty is reversed. Remember that......its important.

Now to order some parts before I put it all back together:

-new starter
-new alternator
-new oil feed lines. I had bought some that were rated for 300 degrees but with it being near the hotside of the turbo, i want to get a higher rating
-new engine mounting bolts
-new gaskets for turbo to downpipe, oil return, aam dp to ARC exhaust

Installing an AEM oil temp gauge in place of my cyberdyne. Gonna look slick.

what high temp supply lines are you going to get? just get some SS braided AN lines and then get those heat tubing wraps to go over it. Should work perfect.

I wish i had your drive to work on my car. I have some stuff to do but i'm just too lazy to mess with it.

Me too! lol. Thanks man! I need this car to run. I miss driving it. Wifes 335i is helping to bridge the gap but she only "lets" me drive when were going somewhere together.

I bought the summitracing brand. Going to order from them today to have the new ones here tuesday. Getting 400-450 degree steel braided. The current ones are not steele braided.

I have been working on the car and been unmotivated to pull it apart. I could work on it all year and enjoy it. So many projects I want to still do to it. I need this car to run as I am tired of seeing it sit in the garage with all the money sunk into it. I keep missing events, shows, meets ect.
