Whats up luke! Yeah that would be awesome. Insurance quote guy is giving me the run around.

Took the Z out to cars and coffee of the upstatelast month. Lots of nice cars were there, you ought to head up.

is she running "full" boost yet?

Need to talk to you man, wife approved me doing my project. Realized that ya'll might be the people to talk to about finding a z with no motor or trans. (going to use the suspension and diff parts for a locost mated to a 5.3l gm motor...) looking for <2k lbs and ~400 hp...

Nope, not running full boost.

I had the wife run the engine for me yesterday while I looked under the car for oil leaks. It appears to be leaking from above the mating point of the upper oil pan and block...FML. That and the passenger side oil feed line. I just do not like having an oil leak.

350z without motor/trans...im sure that can be had. theres a pull a part 2 blocks from my house, just opened up a few months back.

Also just picked up a 2007 335i.....fun little car. Keeps my mind off the 350z for now.

rear oil seal leaking. good luck. gotta pull upper pan to replace. I had to do mine twice because it leaked the 1st time i put my upper pan on.

Both times, with the motor in the car and a 4x4 across the shock towers to hold the motor when i removed the subframe.

Not fun

Its on the front. If you go under your car and look up inline with the pressure sender there is a bolt head(pointed up, threads pointing towards intake manifold), it gets covered in oil from what looks like another bolt that is going through the front timing cover and into the block.

Not looking forward to any of it. Removing the oil feed line.......ugh

Wrapped all my lines with silicone Resuce tape to help point out the source of the oil. None of them looked suspect.........oil pressure sender? Pulled it, re RTV'ed it and stuck it back in. 6 new qts of oil. Will try to test it this week before I fly out for work.

Also, just purchased the seibon wide rear fenders. 10mm wider than stock. This will allow me to run my wide rear tires and not rub ( going to cut the stock fenders. I hate seibon and their shitty fitment but the tire scrubbing is killing me too.

offset must be different on the rims. My 305's fit with plenty of room. I just rolled the fenders and now have about an inch of clearance. Maybe g35 is wider in the rear as well though.

I'd try to pull the fenders some before cutting them and doing all that body work.

tread width varys by brand. My 305 hankooks fit fine, my michelins are WIDE.
Wheels are 10.5 +18
Fenders are rolled.
Cannot shave the disks since my BBK kit is only about 2mm from the spokes.

Havent read any success stories about pulling/flaring since the fender already has a crease. Not trying to do a hellaflush style flare and do not trust a phonebook.

As far as bodywork, the Z already needs it. Its got 85k miles of abuse.
