yeah. I am thinking it is something with my coil packs. Car shakes when i try to rev and gets real lean. Never did this before even in the hot summer.
I did sit with the ignition on for a bit while comparing maps ( opening and closing) and then after that it seems to have started. I have re-uploaded several maps and rechecked settings. The misfire/shaking/high a/f just wont go away.
Idles fairly well.
Thinking about new coil packs. FML! its always something. I was starting to get excited.
May also put the map sensor back to internal and try again.

Swapped coil packs. Much better. The ones i had were not exactly oem...busted.
Planning to order 6 new oem packs and 6 new spark plugs. Whats another 500 right?
Now to get tires mounted and put it all back together and drive some...then final tune!

^Thanks man! Re-doing the last charge pipe and my maf pipe too. Its a subtle color change but the cleanliness of the TB now...omg so much nicer.
Well its more than just putting parts on a shaft and bolting it down.
You have to get the springs pre-tensioned in the right direction. There are interferences for getting some of the parts back on. Putting the throttle plate and drive motor in were easy, the upper part is the most time consuming.

Car never saw pavement so i cannot really saw what was happening under load.
With my issue you could feel the car shake, ses for misfire and high AFR.

well along time ago i got a code for random misfire when it would do similiar thing, and it went away this was over 8 months ago, now it stumbles on idle and no code, so its been a PITA to diagnose.

got rid of those ugly plastic fluid containers:

coolant:

power steering:

They are weapon-r polished tanks. The power steering is meant for the 350z and the coolant tank is a universal.
Even though the weapon-r is meant for a 350z it doesnt fit. The mounting location holes suck and the small hose bung is .5" when the oem bung was .4" which required an adapter to fit. You would think something so simple would be right.
I made custom mounts for both tanks using angle aluminum stock and some round stock. Had to drill and tap a hole into the body frame for the PS tank and use the original tabs but bent them to my needs.
For the coolant tank I just made a basic mount that used the supplied mounting holes.
I powdercoated them to match my oil catch tank, rare jdm cover and crawford strut bar.
