Powdercoated on more charge pipe and some modified coolant pipes. The coolant pipes are modifed to remove the throttle body heater, the loop from the passenger side pipe to the rear pipe and oil cooler/warmer feed. The thermostat port for the oil cooler/warmer is being plugged as well. Also test fit and mocked up the IC piping on the motor ( sorry no pics, forgot to snap a few) The swap is next weekend, hopefully we can get most of it done in 3 days.

The rear pipe was plugged with 1/8npt plugs, driver side pipe with a 1/2npt plug, thermostat with 1/4npt plug. The passenger side pipe will be coming in hopefully this week and be completely welded.

I ordered:
Oil cooler from the DIY thread by Jeffie
Evans NPG+
Motul 75w90
New belts

Chris

Damn that didn't take long to PC pipes.

Correction, the driver side pipe was plugged with a 1/2"NPT plug.

Corrected. Sure it wasnt 3/8th? Seems kinda large.

Quick...took from 2 till 7 to do it and my garage is a mess!. The setup time is the worst and then the cleaning, preheat, cooling, spray, bake and repeat.

That coating on the drivers side pipe came of very easy with 400 grit. I need a bigger oven!

More parts in today! oil cooler like Jeffie's. Summit is so awesome with their 1 day shipping.

Alex, I agree its 1/2npt. For some reason i was thinking 3/8 was a bigger plug.

thats the one. It was just as easy to have it tapped vs sending it to the shop again to weld it.

cute and tiny is better than nothing at all! Damn thing sure wasnt cheap.

did you use an at home PC system? or sent out? If at home, did you media blast or just sand? Harbor freights home PC kits are cheap so would be fun project

At home.
only sanded the Rar JDM cover to give it a surface to cling to. Was afraid the full polish finish would allow the PC to flake off
Not a Harbor Freight special(I hear that chicago electric is junk)

My gun is from eastwood and has worked great for the last few years. Sure its label that holds the barrel together has fallen off but it still works like a champ!
