Installed my DW300 today. Goes in just as easy as the walbro that was in before it.
From top to bottom: Walbro, DW, OEM

Trim the tabs at the base, swap the filter bag and drop in.
After a few prime ups she started right up!

Hey man, let me know when you will be in DFW. Looks like May timeframe I may either be moving back to G-vegas or Tyler, tx...
Beaumont is a little too far though. (5 or so hours from DFW...)

Had a local shop tune it before I head to IP in kentucky.

Few issues on the dyno...
aeroquip fitting on my oil cooler decided it did not want to hold at 120psi.

upwards 4 qts of oil on the floor, lower pan, bumper, fender...the whole damn car.
one of the final pulls

**click this horrible aspect ratio image for a video**
Having to check my ic piping for leaks since BC would only slowly build pressure.
Tuner is sending me dyno plots via email.
results were about 380whp on wastegates and about 420whp @7ish psi. This is on a dynojet.
Car is back in the air on jack stands. I went back and checked all the vacuum lines which all were good but one on the passenger side WG. The nipple was loose on the lower portion. Had to get a 10mm wrench on it, above the tranny and very tight..hurt like a SOB.
Also noticed both of my front lower control arm bushings are toast. Gotta replace those...thank goodness for JasonZya DIY threads.

Great looking z Cux! Hope you get all your issues resolved. Can't wait to see the final results and what you can get out of the DW pump.

Ignore the tq value shown...spike in the graph is misleading. Its really near 370tq, 411 hp around 8 psi.
Yeah the tuner thought I may have a boost leak. I went back and looked at every coupling/t-bolt clamp and everything looks good to me. Going to have to check my BOV.
I did not have any clamps on the hoses. I used the aeroquip socketless type and thought that they were supposed to be adequate. They now have clamps on them.
well your going to have to shoot me a msg and maybe party one weekend. (i'll be about 1.5 hours away.)
looks like we may be buying a boat for skiing and what not... (since our downpayment on a house savings wont be used for another two years...)
good luck man. (I also bitched about you not being able to post on the old site again....) HOpefully it has some affect.

Luke you mean in SC not TX right? I just googled it and it said 6 hours. Charlotte?
Quamen...barely scratched the surface hopefully. Motor has run like a champ so far not to keep a chassis with 85k miles on the road.

We never heard back from the postings in SC so Tyler is where its at.
Charlotte from Beaumont is 11-12 hours of Driving. Tyler will be about 50 miles closer...
Heads ported, c2 cams, jwt springs, cj fuel rails, rfs, 570cc injectors out of a gtr, haltech, L19s, turbo blanket, catch can, a/f boost and fuel pressure gauges in a pillar, oh and converting over to map from maf. It's down at jotech in garland

^my trip got delayed. Will be in sherman on the 4th.
Finally got the boost controller working. right now the PID is set to 75,0,0 and 20%. I hit about 8lbs at 3k rpm. Car pulls nice in 3rd...I think i want more power in 4th,5th, and 6th
