Quick trip to wisconsin. Flew out early on thursday. We actually got more snow here on monday that I had seen all of december in racine.

Ordered this from treadstone to replace the stock plastic piece. The stock plastic piece has a very small lip and with the huge tbolts I was using it was hard to get a good grip on the tube. I had it pop off while driving...not fun. Also it eliminates 1 sealing surface which could be a leak prone surface.
Slowly working on the car. Just ordered some more parts to help get her back on the road.

Just ordered a haltech, dual widebands and boost solenoid. Selling utec, bc and innovate wideband.
Got the DW300 pump on order too! I think the last thing I am worried will hold me back is the oem fuel feed line.
I think I have tipped this into a serious build rather than a budget build. Anyone agree?

Fired her up last night. Got a SES light and tons of smoke out the exhaust.
Wonder if it has anything to do with my PCV modifications and catch can?
Wideband said it was running 14.8 to 15.1 at idle.
Will be able to get clips of the ARC exhaust soon. Fixed my leak issue.

Talked to Hal at Dynosty about tuning. I like their rates and the fact that they know the haltech well.
Biggest thing to do now is install it and get her running off the haltech/dual wb/and boost control solenoid and then sell my utec/innovate wb/hks evc-s. I hate wiring, just hate it. This will give me a chance to clean up my current setup though.
I cant wait to take advantage of the haltech features. I just love how everything is integrated into one unit and that it can control everything. I was a bit skeptical about running the utec and 800cc injectors.

Let me know if I can help with the wiring. I'm a n00b with all things electrical so this would be good for me to experience. Anyway, I'm glad to see you decided to do it right and go for a stand-alone EMS. Your wallet will thank you later.

I made all the wideband switch over and stuff. Wiring is a PITA so i feel your pain but it's so much cleaner now that i finally did it.
Let me know when you head to injected. I'm needing to head there this spring also to finish up some big numbers. Maybe we can head the same week and meet up.

If I dont get there by the End of Feb it would probably be in august. I will be spending March - July in Dalls/Ft worth area for work. IP/Dynosty is about a 5-6hr drive for me so It will be a Fri-sat trip. I have about 280 miles on the motor/clutch and would like to have 750-1k before I go to get tuned.
My install diagram:

From all the documents I downloaded they talk about installing the gauge and installing the controller to the ECU but never a clear cut diagram on how to wire both. They kinda dance around the subject a bit.
Cant wait to see how the haltech works in my car. May swap the 800cc injectors now rather than waiting.

Hopefully this is the last wiring job I have to do.
