thanks!
sometimes when i'm at idle, the car goes from 14.7 to 12.x and back to 14.7.. i'm not sure what's causing this, but i'm thinking because i'm low on fuel and since i don't have an RFS?
just assuming.
how's your car coming along?

I found a pretty nice boost leak and bought a fuel return system...hopefully I'm getting myself out of the hole...lol.

Quick one... if i have Osiris ROM flashed on my ECU with corrected idle and AFR, and then installed the Haltech on the car, would the haltech over-take the the flashed map as well?
i'm already thinking of putting back the stock ROM once haltech is installed, but just wondering what would happen in such scenario.

you'll need the idle adjusted on the map if you want it to be higher. You can either do that with a flash or if you're staying blow 900 you can just use the cipher cable.
Any haltech adjustments to the fuel will override the osiris fuel and timing maps.

np. If you're not cammed i would probably just flash back to stock and up the idle with cipher.
I wish i could have done that and saved the cost of a flash but my car still wasn't happy at 900rpms. We had to flash for 1000. got a few more things lined out so maybe we can try to do the 900rpm idle again and get it to work.

my car wasn't happy with 900rpm either, it was raised to 1100rpm to get to idle normally (and it's still not that smooth).
anyways, after idle and partial throttle tuning, he'll finish it off on the dyno.
hope i get done with this (been 2 and half months now and the car still not tuned properly). *fingers crossed*

what car... ooo the 350z.. well it's.. on hold..
I'm not sure what to do about it, get a new built longblock shipped from the US or just get it done here..
I'm still researching the built blocks.. I have IPP and ForgedPerformance in my mind, but not sure..
winther is on it's way. so I'm in no rush
what do you think about the Haltech? I'm considering going that route, now that my Goal is 500WHP
thanks for asking

IPP= lowest prices ever + best customer service ever
Since you are in Denmark, I would go with the Haltech since its open and any tuner can tune it.

haltech cannot SET the idle. stock ecu controls that.
He said tune teh idle, which means adjust the million parameters to get it to idle properly but the haltech is no able to set the rpm for idle. It's a static setting in the ecu.
