Lol yeah nice to finally meet you.

Car pulls good as usual. Car made 580/490@20 psi... So this is where I'm at for now. I'm finished for a while for chasing more power. I'll still mess with the belt setup and rod to see if there is anything else to be pulled. But for now, I'm content.

Are you going to look for a bigger intercooler to see if that helps at all?

Looks good man. That's nice power. I think you're smart to leave it as is. I'd say eventually when you want a bit more kick out of her just get some meth injection and call it a day. Don't even need to tune for it.

I'm not really interested in putting more into the build at the moment. Car is a monster and couldn't really ask for more. My intercooler is welded into the crash bar so I really don't wanna mess with it. The track opens up in 3 weeks so thats the main thing I'm looking At for now. Need to pay off the credit cards and start putting money into my house we just bought. Wife has a bunch of plans, lol

Thanks, there is more to be had, but I'm happy. Hell I did a full throttle up shift to 5th and the tires lit up on the highway.... I'm happy with how far I've come with the vortech system. Not disappointed at all with how everything turned out. I was hoping to be past 600, but oh well. The car is fast and plenty fun for now.

removed my bumper and intake just to see what kind of difference it would make. From 2nd to end of 4th, it started off at 47* and it hit 91*. Went into 5th a little and it was going up anymore.. Most of my higher ait is from the filter being between the intercooler and radiator.

Can you route your intake to cooler location.

Hey Josh.

I know you are not chasing numbers, but have you thought about running a different plenum, I.e the Kinetic velocity which will replace ur upper and lower plenum altogether? Just feels like you will gain more from your setup/combination with it cause I feel the OEM Manifold and spacer is holding you back especially at the higher RPMs.

Yeah it is possibly holding me back a little. Havent really put much thought into it though. Only thing I hate is, if I put something else on the car, that always ends up being more $ I got to throw into it. But, at the same time, I just got this bigger blower with re tune that should make a good bit more than my other smaller blower and only seen a 30hp/30trq increase. Would really like to maximize everything I have. Mainly with tuning and dyno time.

I'll prolly throw more money at it towards the end of the season when I want to try and push it a little harder. I'm gonna focus a little more on my intake/filter set up to lower my aits and work on this belt slip for the time being.

Kinetix is sh**. Don't buy it.

I don't get why people are still buying them.

I have a short runner setup in my car. It's called the REV-UP lower manifold :O OMG

Picked one up for $70 bucks. Loose torque and get more power up top. Simple.

I sense sarcasm, lol. The Kinetix was just an example I suggested because Colombo on here is making over 600 with the same blower as Meanz. I assume that would be a cheaper alternative for improvements at the top end. I actually have a Revup lower I'm not using myself and never thought about using it.

I mean do keep in mind, I'm hoping to still make power over 8k rpm...

The cosworth picks up power in the meat of the power band on all cars, but I don't think it's really worth paying the $ for.

If anyone wants a non rev lower, hit me up. I've got one sitting in my garage. lololol.

resmarted, you think the Rev up lower would help me on a single turbo build or a waste? Being turbo, that tq will already be up there anyways

So, I looked at the pictures in this thread and went back to the pictures of the sit now thread, I think you have an opportunity to make some kinda ducting for a intake to pull from in front of the intercooler. I don't know if your bumper meets up the intercooler on top or not, but it doesn't look like there is alot of room on the driver's side for the intake either
