Another built motor Vortech dreamer thread.
On turbos the tune will make a bigger impact than anything else. As well as how you setup your wastegate duty cycle/boost controller. But I don't see why you wouldn't get more flow near 7k rpm.
Nothing wrong with that.

Been messing around with a new belt and this brace on the bracket. I'm currently running open blower and no front bumper at the moment. Doing a pull in 1st and 2nd, I see 25-26psi. 3rd gear and up i see right around 24. At 6k I see 20psi pretty regular on my aem gauge. I plugged in the laptop to see what the haltec was logging. It pegs 22.5 every time. Doesn't see 22.6 or 22.7.. I emailed hal and he is believing that I might be maxing out the internal halted map sensor and may need to change to an external. My aem gauge matches my laptop logs all the way up till it gets past 21-22. Then the laptop will peg 22.5 and stop.
I almost shredded a belt. I stopped seeing past 21-22psi. So I was looking over things. I didn't add lock tight to the strut brace and it back out letting the bracket flex out. I loosened my belt up and readjusted the strut brace adding lock tight and retightened the belt. Made some more pulls and it was back up to 24psi. I have more work cut out for me, but it seems that I'm starting to get the hang of things. Remember i dynoed at 580 at 20psi. Now seeing up to 26psi so far. Still need to work out something for an intake and get my bumper back on.

straight from the haltech manual, that map sensor is rated to 22psi.
http://files.haltech.com/downloads/p..._Z33_Rev_D.pdf
Selectable onboard internal MAP sensor rated to 150kPa (up
to 1.5 Bar or 22psi boost
Time to go external.
If you want, i have a thread on how to tie your aem boost to your haltech. that way your haltech and gauge are always in sync.

Its not the same for PNP but you should be able to take the manual and make it work.

That is correct, you are maxing out the internal map sensor, time to go external.
Found the video I was talking about, yes this is a spring loaded tensioner, but still shows how crazy that belt goes on a supercharged car

Finally got a decent run
60ft. 2.00
330ft. 5.19
1/8. 7.76
Mph. 95.40
Lot of spin and some hop out the gate. Had to get out of it a little then back in. Was short shifting around 6500.

Street tires with Lack of Cushion and Wheel Hop is what kills axles.
I still on stock axles with a 1.51 60ft.
With all that power you need a good set of Slicks and you would be in the 11's first time out, if you ever get to a 1/4 mile track. Plus it's a lot more fun....
You must have brought a spare axle with you, good thinking.....

Just watched you're video clip again.
You car is fast and if you set it up right you would see 10's in the 1/4 mile, that is if you're interested in doing so.
You can hear the car spinning the tires in 3rd gear....
