It's hard to tell because the car jerks forward on the dyno. But it could be flexing. If I were you I'd get the carbonite pulley coating. That's the most guaranteed way to increase friction on your pulley.

I was not nearly as well informed then (3 years ago) than I am now.

I think alot of your posts oldman have been EXTREMELY biased towards people buying your radius rod, good bad ugly, it doesn't matter, you are kinda forcing it down people's throats. Vendors in my experience who do that generally are kinda shady.

I have heard of success with that and IF you were to go down this road, I think investing in a 8 rib setup at the same time would do you well.

Thats a great customer service. Either it works or you can return it. No reason not to try it.

If that's how I come across, then I'm Wrong!

I'm not a vendor, I'm just one of you guys........

All I have wanted to do here is help people, and I've done a fair amount of that in the last 12 years.

A 8 or 10 Rib Custom Pulley Set up is the way to if you have $3000+ to spend on it. A 10 Rib is the only way I would go with an 800whp+ Blown Z or G Car.

I'm about to look into the cost of a 10 rib setup. If you have an ATI Damper already, I can't see how it would cost much more than $400 for a new outer shell. Then a 10 rib vortech pulley is an off the shelf item... Less than $200 for it. The "hardest part" would have to be figuring out the pulleys for PS and idlers...
OR if you have an ATI super damp, and you have a custom outer made, you could have them put the 10 rib or 8 rib on-top of the stock 6, with a wall between them. There's barely room for it, but I think it would fit. Nothing slim radiator fans wouldn't fix (which are relatively cheap). Then you could just extend out the vortech 10 rib pulley and have a direct drive. Add in a couple of idler pulleys and figure out a way to tension it, and you're done.

Would it be an overnight job? Probably not, but the fact everything mounts to a basic plate means you can do just about anything you want...

at that point, you'd just be doing it to say you had a supercharger. The parasitic loss is soo high at that point. add nitrous if you want more power at that point.

Oh Look!

What is that mounted to the shock tower and Blower?

Could that be a Radius Rod?

I'm talking about Cars and Blowers.

The Blower does not know what kind of motor it's on. The Laws of Physics apply to the Whole Universe. A VQ motor is not exempt.....

What Phucking Planet are you on?

Been trying to catch up on some sleep. 830 mile round trip in a z will tire you out! I pulled my belt off and side by side to my new belt, the old belt is a little bit longer. I ordered the same belt, so I guess it stretched a good bit. I had to lower the tensioner all the down to get it on. Moved an idler pulley and shredded the belt first pull. Put the old back on and see consistent 22psi right at 6900-7k. I'll record a log to be exact. I might be missing 1-2 psi up top, but not that worried about it at the moment. Spent to much money on this trip, lol. I brought bigger 1300ID injectors with me just incase, but they weren't needed. Glad I can return them! 1100$ back into the account. Z is pulling hard up top. I'll try to up load the graph later after work so you guys can see.

Yeah sounds like you had that belt tightened down rediculously... Which is obviously how you got those numbers hahaha. A carbonite pulley coating should be under 100$ shipped back to you... Definitely worth looking at. It may be possible to switch to a cheaper belt too afterwards.

Here is a picture of the upper end of the graph. Note that my boost line is still slightly going up, I can literally lay a straight line on it and it pretty much matches up all the way across. My hp is now flattening out though. If my boost is still going up, should my hp still climp also. Maybe the hp flattening out is a small amount of slip? Or maybe this blower is out of steam already?
