^hang with it...if a busted relay is your worst problem ... you're prob doing just fine...

besides, fans are worthless past 30mph...

I understand that fans are worthless past 30 mph, but i need them so i can get the car tuned tomorrow. I also hit stop and go traffic everyday coming home from work.

I swapped all of my relays last night and did the IPDM test and the fan never went into high speed.

Today once the wife is done with her doctors appointment i'm going to ohm wires between the ipdm and fans to make sure i don't have a break.

But you got one fan working properly? That's good enough ... I only run one fan.

did you put 12volts against either fan to check that the motors are functioning? and a volt meter against the harness to ensure the fans are getting the 12volts?

I wouldn't let fans stop your dyno - the dyno shop should have massive fans running why you're tuning. The chincy OEM fans would be useless...so as long as you can get there you're good ... leave super-early and/or take a different route!!

So the passenger side is dead dead, with 12V from battery it doesn't spin. The driver side only works on the low speed but once i put 12V to both the pins it kicks to high which tells me one of the relays isnt closing correctly or i have a broken wire.
Unfortunatly there is only one way to the dyno. So traffic is almost a gurantee. I think if i could get it to kick into high speed i may be ok.

The dyno uses 4 of these stacked ontop of each other so not sure how efficient these our wit our stupid stupid bumper.

Well after fighting with the car all day i confirmed the passenger fan is dead. I hooked all the relays up to a 6v battery charger to see if any were stuck and they all clicked letting me know they wasnt stuck.

I also cut off the connector to the passenger side motor to use it to check voltage to the fans. They are in fact receiving 14V from the IPDM.

I disconnected the driver side fan and let the car get in between 1/2 and 3/4 then plugged back in the fan to makr sure its capable of dropping the temp back down. Took about 20 secs and the temp was back to normal.

All of this was in my garage in the Floridia heat so probably 95-98* stagnet air.

i will be ordering new fans though, i noticed the driver side fan did get hung up once. Once i spun it with my fingers it was g2g.

So as it stands right now tomorows dyno tune is a go...more to come tomorow afternoon.

atta boy, atta kid!!

Youll be fine with 4 of those fans just make sure they're placed right in front of the car and the hood is open.

What about taking your bumper off for your dyno session??

Have you ordered fans yet?

I ordered a $69 aluminum shroud and fan set off Amazon and got a couple spal fans. Shipped from Amazon 2 day delivery.

Threw the crappy fans away and cur openings for 14" spals.......I think it was cheaper than one OEM fan.

i went to junk yard today and bought some fans for $50. They work amazing when they are not hot, once they get warm they stick and have to be started by hand....Then they run fine.

Dyno Sheet

First things first
288Whp and 268Wtq on a Dynocon AWD dyno with a 1.07 correction factor.

Car feels amazing and hit 133 and pulling hard before coming up to Mexican traffic ;-)

Now the not so good news, about 10 mins before getting home i think i had a wideband die. Once the car cools ill get under it and see whats going on.

Next mods- Kinetix manifold and LMT or Admin tuning intake to see if i can stop the power from falling up top.

The redline is 7100 not 6600 like the dyno shows, not sure why its reading like that.

Nice numbers. It must feel good to have it back on the road and running well.

Its amazing, it sounds awesome and pulls so damn hard. Time to recal the widebands, fix the suspension, adjust the clutch. Then get it to the track for some time slips.

So, did some work on the car tonight to see if i killed a wideband or what was going on.

I go underneath the car and what do i find.....my damn wires hanging on my driveshaft!

Yea so when they shop replaced my rear upper pan seal and my rear main they didn't secure the wires.

Thankfully it was a easy fix.

So tonight i also learned that my headlights SUCK!!! 6K headlights with 3k fogs.
I'm going back to my OEM bulbs since there were very good but i wanted to be a cool kid and upgrade to 6k's.
It gets super fogy and the rain can be crazy and people have now idea how to drive so i'll keep the fog lights to make sure people can see me.

I also learned that either my clutch isn't broken in all the way or Blizzak WS-70's have to much traction when trying to do a second gear burn out.
Oh how i hate the smell of burning clutch in the evening. Once it hooked it took off like

See if anyone gets the reference, showing my age

I PM'd ypu a few months back, I still have my V3 with 928MS impeller, mounting plate and intercooler, same price. Just needs a new impeller seal cause it's leaking a lil oil. The piping however you will need to source on your own. It's just sitting in my garage.
