Only way to get 50/50 is to make it yourself.

Interesting video Conway ... I didnt realize Heet (yellow) was 100% ... might be a good option for short-batch WMI.

I run 50% distilled water and 50% washer fluid ... I like it mostly for cleaning and for dropping temps a little ... but I know there are others that use a higher meth %% to create more power ...

I'm sure I'll get there - it makes me want to go experiment with WMI on my next car-outting!

Pulled my plugs this morning to see if If any cylinder is acting weird before I start throwing boost at it next week.

Nothing looked off to me, I may not see anything until I get some cylinder heat and pressure on the plugs though.

Been taking the car to work the this week. When everything was safe I did a 4th gear pull. Pull was 5k to ~6900.

If you look at the graph yellow is RPM and Red is Boost. From 6K+ i was hovering around 15psi. I have either a boost leak or very bad belt slip.

I'm thinking it may be my meth mozzle since i failed to used E6000 sealant when i installed it.

Put some E6000 sealant on my meth nozzle tonight and also ordered a Tim Rod Radius Rod from Oldmanz350.

Tomorrow If everything stays dry I'll do another 4th gear pull to see how my boost reacts.

I'll do the same thing once I get and install the radius rod.

Thanks! The plan is to get the little things squared away then go ham. I talked to Admin Tuning he feels safe pushing the car to 650-700 with the meth. I don't think I'll push it much over the 540 it made on the dyno.

What Blower do you have? trim?

What Pulley Set?

What is your Rev Limit?

Thanks,

Tim,

V-3 With.928 motorsports Billet impeller and HD bearings. Allowing me.to spin upwardsof 80K.

2.87 with 34/28 cogs if i remember correct. Still stock Crank pulley.

Rev limiter is set to 7200, but with Rev up pump i can spin it to 7500.

I doubt this set up can get me 700 but i fell it can hit 625-650 if pushed hard.

My 540 was made at 13* of timing on pump 93 with belt slip at 6800+ It peaked at 18psi. I'm thinking it would 20-21 psi.

Sealing the meth nozzle with E6000 didn't make a difference. Tomorrow I should be getting OldManZ305's radius rod. Once installed I'll do another run to see if that fixes my problem.

Jason,
Yep, Belt is slipping @ 15psi or you have a Boost Leak. IMO based on your Log it looks more like a Boost leak.
Generally, with belt slip, boost goes flat and just stops climbing, in less the belt is very very loose, and or dirty.

**Do you have Any Belt Dust around, on or near the pulleys? ***

***What Compression Ratio? ***

***What Cams? ***

Boost should Climb to Redline.

Once you have the Radius Rod Installed, and Belt Adjusted, Then Test Run.
If Belt is still slipping Tighten just 1/2 Turn on the Adjuster at a time, Then Test Again. (could even do 1/4 turns)

"Once I had my Belt adjusted with the Radius Rod & no slip, I've NEVER had to re-adjust it."

MAKE SURE BELT AND ALL PULLEYS ARE 100% CLEAN. CLEAN THE PULLEYS WITH BRAKE CLEANER, AND TAKE OFF THE THE BELT AND CLEAN IT WITH SOAP & HOT WATER.
NEVER USE BELT DRESSING!
NEVER SPRAY WD40 OR ANY TYPE OF LUBRICANT NEAR OR AROUND THE BELT OR PULLEYS

IF THE BELT IS NOT IN GREAT CONDITION, REPLACE IT WITH EITHER AGATES GREEN BACK HD BELT OR GATES RPM BELT.
MAKE SURE YOU GET THE PROPER SIZE, SO YOU HAVE PLENTY OF ADJUSTMENT.

I agree that it looks like boost leak, but not a fitting or connector. A fitting or connector can possibly leak only at higher rpm/pressure, but the pressure would still climb with a different slope. The fact that the boost falls makes me agree that its not just belt slip. I'm completely tossing this out as an idea, but something makes me think the blow off valve is opening and causing the boost to behave like that. Possibly a leak in the vacuum line or diaphragm that is letting it open and then stay open until boost falls.

You're not running any sort of boost control solenoid are you?

Received OMZ's brace, wasn't expecting it until tomorrow so that was a good surprise.
Results were not what I was hoping for though. Still hitting max boost at like 6k RPMs then it falls or hovers until i shift.

I suppose now I build or buy a boost leak checker to see if I can find anything.

Car is kicking my @$$ yet again....

I have seen this before with blown welds on the sheet metal kinetix plenum. Good luck.
