Listen, Conway ... If you have big chunks of metal after your first oil change, you have bigger problems them a ring of RTV on the lower oil pan! lol!!! Lets hope you dont!
If you need another knock sensor subharness I have 3 of them sitting in a box...also, since it's out, you should wire-in the Uprev listening device. Equivilent to the Plex Knock-Block, ie 'det cans' ... actually pretty cool, you can listen to the engine. When I run my car, especially if I'm planning on running it hard, I have plug headphones in hooked up to mine. Basically listening for knock.
Engine is installed. Was working on installing headers, and my header wrap started falling apart. I managed to get the wrap removed from the passenger side header.
At first I was super worried, when I went to Walmart this morning when I would get into it a little bit I would see a plume of white smoke from the back of the car.
In my head i'm thinking I've never see this before but last time my rings wasn't gaped for boost. So maybe since they are looser they may smoke a little bit until they are seated.
Leave Walmart and notice no smoke, rev it to about 4K still no smoke SWEET!!! We're all good continue home.
About an hour later I take the car back out to put some miles on it. Clutch has been feeling a little funky but figured the stupid rubber grommet was stuck again so didn't really worry about it. Welp then it happened, slave pulled and Epstein all over the ground.
Called a friend to have him two me back to the house. He got there only to find out he didn't have a tow strap.
Wife and kids got in his truck and I limped her home.
So glad this transmission has awesome sycnro's in 1st-4th. For what ever reason it would grind trying to go into 5th so I just limited myself to 4th and 2500-2700 rpms.
I'll get another slave tomorrow, along with conventional oil and break in additive for the next 100 miles or so.
How long are/can you run mineral break in oil? I have 20 miles.

Good to hear its up and running!
are you sure it's the slave cylinder?
This is your first ever oil in this engine? If so I wouldnt put no more than 50miles on it... you're gonna have a bunch of gunk and other stuff floatin in that oil that you want to flush out before not too long...then I might put a fresh conventional oil in it for another 500miles to 1000miles and then go full syn...just my two cents

Yea, it exploded. The inner rod that pushes on throw out bearing thing was sticking out the side of the rubber when I got under the car.
I will change the oil tomorrow with 10-30 and Zinc additive.

That sounds like you have the pedal stop misadjusted, allowing the master to travel far enough that it over travels the slave and pushes the rod completely out. I would recommend adjusting your lower pedal stop so that it does not happen with the new one on the first hard shift.

I'll try that, but as it stands my clutch doesn't even engage until about 1/2" into the throw.
Run the Motor for 20 mins, then Change the Oil & Filter. ( You want to get any Crap out that might be in the motor ASAP )
Put in Regular Conventional Oil and change at 300-500 mile Max. Motor is Now broken In!

Up to 50 miles on the car. I will say that even though I'm limiting my right foot to about 3500 rpms if I'm not careful the car will hit 3psi. I have yet to hit more than 25-30% throttle.
You want to very the LOAD and RPM to seat the Rings.
You're Fine.
More and More Load & RPM with time.
