Default 1/2 plenum spacer w/ strut bar?

i want to get the mrev2 with the 1/2 plenum spacer. I know i need to get a aftermarket strut bar, but are there any that will fit the 1/2, or wil i just have to get the 5/16

why do you want the 1/2? i'm pretty sure that the 5/16 has been proven to give the best gains, and you dont need an aftermarket strut

Fail.

You can try using spacers for the stock strut bar. Some people says it works and some says it doesnt. It didnt work for me. I know the APS strut bar will work with it and theres another one I cant remember at the moment.

you're better off with the 5/16 if you want everything to fit. i have the isothermal 5/16 and used washer spacers under the strut bar.

about the best think you can do if you already have the 1/2 inch spacer is to install the thick spacers that they send you and then from there loosen the strut bar at the adjustment point shown here:

Bottom left of this pic - ignore the rest - Adjust at the middle hex, the other two are lock nuts to hold it in place.

Bottom left of this pic - ignore the rest - Adjust at the middle hex, the other two are lock nuts to hold it in place.

- adjust it to fit all the bolts loosely by only turning them a few threads, do not tighten.
- do this for all locations
- then from there play with the adjustment **** and ensure you are clearing it with out pushing into the threads of the bolts
- use of a broken yard stick at contact points helps in finding the right position. (stick them between strut bar and engine points that its hitting. that will give you a yard stick worth of clearance) get it?

- tighten down if you get it to clear.

Like other said, some get it to work, others don't.
