Took a look at my headers the other day looking at my rack that's leaking but I have a lot of surface rust. And I had my jet hot coated. Anyone else have this problem

Ya I think I'm limited to either the shockwave TDX1 or TDX2 since I want to stay true dual, and you informed me I can order it with hfcs mid pipe.

Just call and talk to Tony or his wife and let them know you want HFC's in the midpipe rather than the standard. It'll cost you a bit extra, but cheaper than if you order the HFC midpipes alone after.

Also, PPE has stopped using Jet Hot and does all their coatings in house now (called Evolution Coatings, I believe it's operated by his brother). No clue about the rust issue though.

Btw MD doesn't make a "true dual" exhaust.

Ya, it's close enough for me. It's not what I would consider a "single" like the S-tune, and then of course the regular single exhausts.

Yes and I've had mine the longest out of anyone. I told Paul about it most of the rust is at the flange and the bends.

Anyone with a xyz pipe and nismo s tune? figure probably not...
So question posed, would the nismo a tune hinder my performance at this point? Or will it suffice for na?

S-Tune is 3" I dont see why it would cause a power loss. Sounds excellent anyway.

Big *** intake and removal of that bottleneck of a plenum along with some long tubes and a good tune will get you close if not there lol

Haha I'm working on it. Im working on either a 3.5" or 4" intake (I want to keep the strut bar though) with a 2k9 max or 2k6 m45 tb bored out to 80mm into the kinetix velocity intake mani I have. If that doesn't get it I figure some 264s or 272 and a redline of 7200rpm will get me there.

Youre definitely going in the right direction, I've seen some very impressive results coming from those mods. I believe theres a slightly bigger TB that you could use too, slightly smaller than 90mm

The gm 87mm? I've read that, it's just the it some how magically worked thing. I've looked at the voltages on it, and it seems like the pusher motor is way off, but that the ecu can auto compensate. But idk if it's a fluke it worked for fixer, and everyone else would fry their ecu. Or if you just leave the ecu off long enough and it'll fix it.

I'm wondering power-wise if the Invidia Gemini with 60mm (2.36in) piping would be a restriction, especially considering how the headers have a 2.5 exit, but the Invidia is also a true dual design.

Thoughts?

I posted a thread already [in the tuning sub forum] but to consolidate information heres my cars dyno. PPE with reducer.

**Gains are from the tune ONLY, not stock manifold to PPE.**
