Nice! How much MAF tuning did you have to do to get that to work and did you use Uprev?

I'm interested in doing this for sure. I might pick up a used upper intake manifold to have custom drilled. Also, I'm guessing we have to email Surratt about the PnP harness? I was on his site and didn't see it, but maybe I just suck at looking. I might want to see some dynos before taking the plunge, though.

@2bad: but you can't put you're strut bar on because the tube sits too high, correct? And is the TB you're using the NWP TB?

And to get off track real quick, I suggest ditching the V+ (http://www.zcarmotoring.com/showthre...V-PLENUM-USERS!!)

There is no difference between his TB and NWP he just is not using their adapter plate

I haven't emailed kinetix yet. But the first time I emailed them, they said it the plenum deteriation was due to the DE design flaw. Because it allowed too much oil into the intake, it was breaking down the plastic. So it's not kinetix's fault, but nissan engine design flaw. So I don't think much will happen if I show them this.

Well then clearly they didn't do enough testing. What a cop-out.

If 2bad240's results are clear cut, then we could be onto something. I personally wouldn't want a 4" intake...I'm thinkin 3.5", but regardless, someone could start making them.

yes i dyno tested it it made 252hp on a dynojet before the intake and TB i had it tuned after on a superflow and it made 252 also but the owner said the superflow was known to test 20% lower than the dynojet i was on before

there is literally no room to run it farther i have the gruppe-m carbon scoop in the bumper to supply fresher air to the intake and a jwt heat shield to try to keep the heat off and it is straight 4"

i dont run a strut bar as my car is pretty much just for drag. i got my TB off ebay awhile back and instead of using a adapter i redrilled the holes in the TB and i bought my pnp harness from voltage drop back before he was mass producing them but he is advertising them for $80 shipped on facebook now.

as a whole i dont feel like the setup is worth the money as far as power i cant tell a difference and i have switched the TB's at the track and picked up a tenth by switching back to the stock one...

That's not what I wanted to hear, haha. If you didn't run any faster at the track, that more or less seals the deal. Would've helped if you had dyno'd on the same dyno in similar conditions, though.

Yea I wish I could have ran both on the same dyno. But I'm very picky about where I take my car and there was some personnel changes at the first shop so I went elsewhere. I will dyno them very soon for you guys on the same dyno. Same day and post results.

I plan on track testing it tomorrow or Friday depending on the weather. 3 runs with and 3 runs without. Plan on testing it on a cammed maxima and a bolt on 350z time permitting.

Maxima has 3.5 intake 350z has stock z tube. I'm looking for a higher consistent trap speed not times.

I have a feeling results are minimal for most, without tuning , quality headers, cams etc etc , you won't see much from this. This also includes the MAF housing.
