Just wondering if anyone has had this problem before. This just started happening about a month ago but everytime I start up my car all of the lights under my speedometer illuminate. The VDC light, the brake light, the low tire pressure light, and the slip light . Could this just be a loose connection electrical problem? Anyone know if this is common?

Uh, sorry I forgot to specify... They stay on while driving. They never turn off.

check your brake fluid, then pads (wear), then tire pressures (might be low from the cold temps)
if you have aftermarket wheels and tires, make sure you kept the diameters not far from factory spec.

More info would be helpful... how many miles on your car, how old.. what kind of mods do you have .. Have the lights been on constantly for a month or do they go out on occasion?
Sometimes when all your dash lights come on it's a sign that your alternator or charging system is failing.. Do you have a huge audio system? Anyone do work on your car a months ago?

I have an '03 touring. No mods except for a custom front grill. There is 34k miles on my car. The only work I've had done on it was the tranny was replaced a year ago. The lights started coming on 2 months ago and they've stayed on since. Sometimes the brake light wont be on but most of the time it is. The VDC off and Slip lights are always on though.

well if your pads are low, then your fluid is probably low...there is a sensor in the brake fluid container that senses if the fluid is low
mine fronts went at about 30k so it seems you are in the same position. i changed over to Hawk HPS street pads b/c people are saying they are lasting longer, wearing better, and have less dust.
i still don't understand why some are saying the HPS pads are squeaking b/c mine are not. i guess i just beaded them in correctly...

to answer your other question the lights corrispond to the anti-lock brake system, traction control, ect...if you have low brakes the ecu i believe disables the traction control and abs system.
