Default High oil pressure - oil burn off, Did the research

Shortened list for those who dont like reading:

1. 120+ psi oil pressure above 3500 rpm
2. Oil change less than 1000 miles ago
3. No leaks/No oil burn, burned through almost a full quart of oil

Mod list:
2007 Nissan 350z
Nismo R-Tune Dual Intake
Motordyne ART V2
Hotchkis Sways

The issue began yesterday when leaving for work (outside temp was 72º) (car is always warmed up before leaving NEVER RAN COLD) i noticed that when i merged onto the highway my oil pressure gauge was reaching 120psi which has never happened before, when i would slow down to under 3k my psi would drop to within normal standards 60-80psi. i got into work after 13 miles of driving and i had burned through a quart of oil, walked to the gas station and added 5w30 which is what i put in, oil level is back up to normal however still getting high readings, the high psi could be explained by the bad sending unit which has been covered multiple times in the threads below. but what would cause that much oil burn off in a small time?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, it turned out to be a defective oil filter and was promptly replaced. the car is running 100% better and the oil level after 1000 miles has not fluctuated!
