Default Replacing headlight lens

Hey all,
planning on replacing the outside lens of my headlights. I was planning on buying a pair of cheap ebay headlights and using the lens on my OEM headlights.
My question is are the 03-05 headlights the exact same shape/size as the 06? Because on ebay the aftermarket 03-05 lights are the cheapest and all i need is the outer lens to swap for my 06 oem headlights
Thanks

I have used the 3M restore system on 2 cars with excellent results, assuming yours might be clouded but not cracked. All you need is a drill.
Good luck on the lights!

The lights aren't clouded or cracked just somewhat scratched/scuffed.
Im assuming the 3M restore system is one of those headlight buffing kits? I've already wet sanded/buffed my lights. Its just that when the headlights are on at night you can really see the wetland marks

You said: "The lights aren't clouded or cracked just somewhat scratched/scuffed."

How would the lights be "just somewhat scratched/scuffed." as you report?

If you drive through corn fields that happens.

Its called wet sanding. I wet sanded a while back because they were cloudy. They look fine during the day but when I turn them on at night you can see the wet sanding marks

OK... Got it. Does the "wet sanding marks" diminish the illumination?

I ask because the lens' on my 2003 appear cloudy, but do not seem to lower the light transmission.
