5AT Problem....hope its not serious...
So i was pulling out of my house...i let the engine warm up to proper temperature driving midly till the temp was at the right point....so i start to get on it....go through 1st and as soon as i get up to red line i hear this noise from the back end of my car i think it might be my LSD...or possible gears...but i have no problems shifting through gears....i hope its not too serious i might take it into nissan and let them check it out....but i was wondering if anyone has experienced this same problem/noise??

it sounds like a clicking noise in the rear end of my car....could be a grinding....but its real hard to say it only happens when i climb near redline and nearing redline my car is kinda loud....so i am not able to really listen to the noise...just wondering if this has happened to anyone else....i mean the car has been tracked NUMEROUS times.....so i am thinking and hoping its is my LSD...ive done alot of burnouts and donuts just wearing them down....so i dunno...anyone let me know what it could be...

No, I have this problem.
It does not happen:
At the top of first, half throttle or WOT
It DOES happen:
At the top of 2nd and 3rd, half throttle or WOT
Believe it or not I have never hit the top of 4th WOT :S

I also have a problem where within 1500 to 2500 RPM at low speeds (<30 mph) there is a low growl coming from the transmission. I know it is the transmission because there is no growl noise when the car is in neutral.

Are you talking about the Synchro noise? They tend to be very loud on our cars, when's the last time to changed the fluids?

I changed the fluid 10000 miles ago to Nissan atf. I know they're loud, there's recently been a change in low speed noise where I can hear a separate distinct womp at low speeds. this is not the same as the issue at wot.
