I'm selling them for a little extra $ towards a set of Enkei dedicated track wheels... and my Work wheels are (hopefully) going to be repaired and installed next week.
how are the tires on them? got pics?

Sorry CTurn, I think I posted too soon. I spent some more time thinking about it, and I really can't afford to get another new set of wheels and tires this year. Plus, I've read from many people that I should spend a fair amount of time on street tires before moving up to r-comps. My perceived track experience was much greater than my actual experience.

Default Work wheel repair

Welp, I called the wheel repair guy today and the wheels are done. Being delivered to Belle Tire today. I'm very nervous... I should be happy and excited - but skepticism has me by the short-hairs. Wish me luck guys.

I should have time to go there after work, but, I definately don't want to rush them to install - by tomorrow for sure.

Alright I'm feeling a bit jittery, just bought a titek CF air duct but I wanna buy something else........

What do you guys think of these for street use? 18x8.5 and 18x9.5

http://www.subydude.com/subyslidesho...1/IMG_2356.JPG

Then mount some RE050's on my current 17" ASA's for track use

Rob, don't get them. Those are the wheels I'll eventually have after my fiasco of a situation gets resolved. (mine are Work - but those are the same thing - plus Ian has those too) Other than being a copycat (with good taste) I don't have any reason for you to not get them.

BTW - My wheels are COMPLETELY F---ED UP now. I'm going up there in a little while to talk to the manager I've been dealing with (he wasn't there last night).

Wait I'm confused by your post, so I should get them? lol. Durability/strength wise, rotas should be fine right?

And that sucks about your wheels man. Another reason for me to justify not paying 2k+ for wheels. Good luck and hopefully it'll get resolved soon. Will you be at the meet this sat? We can talk wheels/tires lol

Steve - Sorry to hear that man. You need to tell them to quit screwing around and wasting your time. You bought new wheels a while ago and still cant put them on because of their mistake. Tell them to buy you new ones a/s/a/p. Be firm about it too. Their mistake so they should pay, and for the money you spent, they should have been on your car weeks ago.

Those Rota's are honestly probably fine, but the real Work wheels aren't that much more. For me it was worth it, but I ran Rota's on my last car for a year and a half with absolutely no issues. Like they said though, you can get the real Work wheels for about $1300 shipped(mine came with lugs and hubcentric rings for that price).

That's very shitty about the them messing up the powder coated Work's by the way. I was anxious to see how they looked in person. Hopefully they take care of it all in a timely manner.

They have till Monday. the asst. manager that I've been dealing with agreed, that the wheels are now completely f-d. His words were, "I will take $1800 out of my check to buy you a new set if I have to."

He has till Monday to either work it out with Corporate - Belle Tire (to get me $1800), or order me a new set from Z1.

The powdercoating was done by Work USA @ $90 per wheel. I may look at getting them done locally.

I just got a new diffuser on my car yesterday, and I was bored, so I took some pictures(nothing exciting, just in the driveway). I figured I'd share them though.

that's sweet man. I was thinkin of getting a rear diffuser, but now that I look at yours I don't think I'll get it cuz it covers up the HKS tips. I like showin off the blue

BTW, I have to check out your wheels this weekend at the bbq. Still contemplating either the work emotion concave look or the 5 spoke look.....

My titek airduct should be shipped today, but I don't think I'll get it in time for the bbq
