Man I was gonna ask you the same question after you got yours done. I thought you already had a source. I'll ask my friend who did his. I think it was someone he knew personally.

Best buy is replacing the DLP chip in my rear projection next week. I'm gonna ask the geek squad guy also. I don't want to pay best buy for that. An individual will probably costs less and possibly do a better job.

I'll let you know if I find someone.

Sorry for not checking back in Jake. I had an Uncle pass away and was out of town with family.

Chris if you get over to Jakes and can checkout his amp, go for it. Dont worry about waiting on me, it looks like this weekend is going to be busy too.
After you mentioned that your reception was good at the start and fades out after a few min. I have noticed that is similar to mine also. Looks like we have the same problem.

I only want a set of jack stands and one of the Hydraulic jacks.
That looks like a really good deal if the Jacks are in good shape. Still a good price for all the stands. But I think i am good in that department right now, thanks for checking.

You can look on avsforum, when I used to go there they have a thread where they gave calibrators information base on region etc.

I got into it with him today cuz his girlfriend or whatever the hell she is tool my parking spot last night and I had to park on the other side of the complex and walk in the rain to get into my apartment. He tried to tell me that I am a greedy person that only likes to take from other people and that I should just worry about myself from now on lol. I personally don't think I'm like that but maybe I'm wrong and I just can't see it cuz I've been consistently pissing a few people off over the last couple of months. I always try to be fair with people but I think I'm gonna take some time to actually think about it to see for myself if I actually am like that. If I am, it's not like I do things intentionally to upset people so I guess I wouldn't be a douche by choice lol.
Don't even spend one more brain cell thinking that way Pat.....you are a very kind, helpful person and would give your shirt off your back....eh well if you had one, room mate took it already ! You need to get out of that situation as soon as possible.

So my gas light came on a lot earlier than it normally does last night and I wanted to just push it a little and see how the thing works and figure this one out, I took the same route to work tonight as I did to go home last night and yet from the time I left my house and drove the 18 miles to work my distance to empty went UP 17 miles lol.

Got lucky you were not PUSHING home, besides.... hasn't anyone ever told ya going empty just helps your pump pick up sheit in the tank ? I almost never go below 1/4. Trust ye who learned the hard way !

It really wasn't very low at all. It only held 15.5 gallons when I filled up tonight after work which technically means there was still 4.5 gallons left. My car is weird. Sometimes when the light comes on it only takes around 15.5 gallons and sometimes it takes a little over 17 gallons. Ive really just started to do it by mileage and just using the gauge as a reference.

The most I've ever put in the car is 18.002 gallons and that was after driving with the DTE blinking lines at me for 20 miles. I will admit though that was a little ridiculous of me cuz don't most cars have like a 2 gallon reserve tank? Idk if that reserve capacity counts as part of the 20.0 gallon capacity of the car or not though.

I always just fill up my tank at the end of the weekend so I have a full tank thru the week.....even tho I don't drive it everyday....I just like to know its full.

Pet-peave of mine....I fill up mine & the wifey's car every Sunday. Just hate to have to worry about it in the middle of the week.

Yup....when I was working , with all the call that was the last worry I needed. But it really is not a good idea to go below the 1/8 th of the tank.....not all.stations have clean tanks and what is in theirs for into yours....especially if you go to gas up and it seems the pump is taking so long....stop..for somewhere else. Their pumps slow down when they are low so you have a better chance of picking up wasted/debris from them. I learned by fire. When my mechanic emptied my 2&1/2 yr old four runners tank, I was shocked at the froth and debris that came out !

I've been low on gas for this whole week. Not driving much sure helps though. I think my light finally came on. I've noticed it's always at an inconvenient time that you need to fill up. I wanted to go when I last went to the store but I had stuff in my car I didn't want in this heat we have here now. I thought I left the head back in TX!

That's just it Stu....it always hits you at the wrong time....that's why I always like having a full tank from the beginning of the week....whatever the beginning is ? You know what I mean ?

To equate it better...maybe having a full load before you start to have sex ! Thank you...thank you very much....I'm here all week...try the Pork !
