This site is pissing me off tonight. Earlier it wouldn't let me get on mobile. Kept asking for my username and password and when I put it in it would just ask for it again. Jody apparently had the same problem as well. Now that I'm using the site in the normal HTML version on my phone, almost everytime I click on a link a pop up for some damn survey opens up a new window on my phone lol
It's driving me insane!

Well I talked to my friends husband today about the job. He doesn't have any positions open right now with his company but he is going to try all of his connections and said he'd be very surprised if we can't find something for me. I also have to take a training course that his wife has offered to pay for cuz it's around $1000 and he said many times you get a job right out of that course because there are just so many companies trying to hire as many people as they can right now. I probably won't start off making as much as I had originally thought but he said the pay goes up very very fast within the first few months and he is also showing me ways to actually start to purchase properties to collect royalties off of for the rest of my life. Those royalties will actually be my property and can be passed on to mu children or whoever in the event of my death or what have you. So if everything works out I may very well be able to set my children up to have a comfortable life after I'm gone one day. He's also trying to find me something a bit closer than Kansas. More than likely it will be in Oklahoma city and I will travel around Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado and west Texas. Fingers crossed that I can make this happen cuz it will definately be a life changing opportunity for me and my future family. Hell, I can actually afford to finally get married if this happens and actually live a comfortable life not having to live paycheck to paycheck. That's really the only reason I havnt married Michelle yet is because I can't afford to comfortably support her and myself. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high just in case but that is proving difficult lol

If Chris is just looking for an all around daily driver with some autox thrown in then I'd recommend coilovers in the $1500 range. Also, unless you really know what you're doing (as in you know how suspension components work, what bump/compression settings to use and WHY, etc), then the settings used should be what's recommended by the company. Too many people adjust **** without knowing wtf they're doing. Hell, I'll admit I was one of those people. Lastly, those coilovers in the $1000 range or lower are just budget coils and there's almost NO R&D behind them, no valve matching, wrong spring rates, etc.

I wasn't being emotional about anything. My bad, if I did. If I'm going to recommend something to someone, though, I'm going to give the best of my knowledge. Just because they work doesn't mean they're appropriate. That, to me, is like recommending a butterknife to cut a steak, just because it still can cut.
I've also been tracking a good amount since this summer and found out the hard way that adjustability means nothing without real knowledge behind it. There's a reason there's a recommended setting, not to mention the fact that many coilovers are marketed with "XX-way adjustable" but the actual adjustments are not appropriate for any real track use. The cheap ones should really be looked at with scrutiny.

^^ so truthfully, those with coilovers here - are you guys really adjusting on the fly while at the track, or do you just make an educated guess on the settings and forget about it?
....cant sleep....too excited about today.......weeeeeeee!!!!

Pat, glad you didnt rush into a wedding you cant afford. better to do it when you're comfy. cause holy hell, that breaks the bank. i can tell you first hand now since that's what i'm gong through.
original budget went through the roof, even while not doing fancy things.

Good Friday !
Thanks for the info Chris & Jake.....I'm looking into some Coilovers from the recommendation of Jakester.
I haven't touched the my suspension except for the Tein H lowering springs....I stilll have stock struts & Camber arms, etc.... I asked about maybe just getting some of the Tokico D-specs....but Jake suggests getting the coilovers.
Still haven't made up my mind...just gonna start saving up a fund on the side for them.

On another note.....for the Oct. 1 AutoX event #9
It looks like Gavin is the only one signed up for this event. I guess he will win then !
