yes I've been reporting it for months, every version that comes out doesn't work right so it's a little frustrating to have paid for the software.

 

I had many problems with my LC-1\LM-1 as well so I bit the bullet and got the Turbo XS Tuner and now it works great.

 

I know that Jeff was registering with this site, so hopefully he'll be on the boards to answer questions soon.

 

I've posted my problems on nasioc as well as sent him error reports but he's never responded. the new version also locked up my usb wireless keyboard once.

 

I don't know what to tell you. I reported the bugs I had in UTI3, and I received a few emails with instructions from Jeff on what to datalog and what screen shots he wanted, etc. We corresponded back a forth a few times and the changes jeff made to the software all worked.

I am going to try the new UTI3 setup on a friend's Z who is using an Innovate WB........I'll report back if I get that one to work.

 

+1 I had so many problem with the older and new version of UTI. So far if you have the Tuner then there shouldn't be any problem. I'm still using Ver. 2.7.5 with my Tuner and there is no reason for me to upgrade since it works perfectly.

 

2.7.5 works for me but it's not really what I want to use. I want to implement it into my carpc and frontend and the newer uti's do that very well but it doesn't help if they don't work.

 

Well, UTI3 w/ Innovate seems to be working. I still can't log the damn temps though, since RPM doesn't work in Dashboard mode.

 

This is what I meant.... Dashboard mode only work if you have the tuner (at least for majority and especially for the older 2.7.5 ver). Without Dashboard mode then you wont be able to log AIT and Coolant temp. Dashboard mode did work for me with the Beta 3 but it wont log the RPM.

 

how are you guys connecting to the UTEC? ......via the direct USB port?

I'll have to try that on mine. I connecto through the tuner, and evrything is perfect.

 

I use usb and connect through the tuner.if I connect with utec only nothing works. I have downloaded the new software and logger & dashboard work fine besides being glitchie and locks up some times.

 

i use usb for utec and serial for aem wideband.

 

Did some logging last night with uti and it did not save any logs at all they are in the folder but blank WTF. If you do a maunal log it saves them. So I logged with just the utec and tuner pro it has never let me down. I think I have a boost leak though, I will post my log in the tuning section. What are your settings for auto logging? It need to get to certain line before it start logging.. Try do a full 4th gear pull with boost and see if it logs.

 

It logged Its in the folder,even shows the time it was logged but it's blank when I open it and shows 0 kb on the file if you put your cursor on it.

 

what settings do you use. I have the same problems. I usually run the factory settings and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't

I have the Log During termination delay off. It also doesn't show your knock status either. or knock correction..

 

the 6700 may be your problem. that is the figure that tells it to save the log. the log is starting, but maybe you aren't hitting 6700 to save it. try lowering that value.

 

I dropped it down to 6000 rpms it is saving logs now. Thanks QuadCam That never crossed my mind.
