The replacement MAF sensor looks just like the OEM Nissan sensor to me. I've seen one, but I didn't have a Nissan OEM sensor to compare it to at the time.

Bobby at S&R Performance in Tampa put one of the new MAF sensors in a TT 350z they were tuning with Osiris. I'm almost positive he did not change the MAF sensor adapter/bung. I think a lot of that stuff is standardized between car manufacturers.

I know you want a definite answer, so hopefully Rich will post back.

Appreciate your insight - that's what I wanted to hear. Thank you!

Yes, the MAF is a direct replacement. It actually IS a Nissan sensor, it has just be reprogramed by PMAS for higher flows.

Where can the florida guys get this tuning done? Closest place Tampa? I'm just getting into my NA mods and a tune would REALLY wake my Z up, need one bad, especially after seeing the roller coaster of AFR numbers I was getting on the dyno a few months back.

Thanks for that confirmation Jared.

I wonder how I might calibrate one, going into a charge pipe that is not exactly the same size as the OEM MAF housing, but that is not a critical concern at the moment.

As far as I know, S&R Performance is the only authorized Osiris Pro Tuner in Florida. On top of that, they are nice guys and do good work. It would be worth the drive to Tampa.

http://www.sandrperformance.com/

There's the link to S&R Performance. Their phone number and address is under the "Location" link. Give them a call and ask for Bobby.

You can usually tune it for a different tube simply by modifying the K fuel multiplier (we've tuned up to 90mm[~3.5"]). If it needs more adjustment you can allways adjust the 64 cell MAF table to get it perfect at every voltage.

Florida is crazy all of a sudden. Jared just went and did the Technology Day at S&R performance, and they get really good reviews from customers. But you have three options currently, with rumors of more coming shortly.

* S & R Performance
9507-A North Trask St.
Tampa, FL 33624
sandrperformance.com
(813) 961-0609

* Harbor Nissan/
Relentless RPM
4336 Tamiami Tr.
Port Charlotte, FL 33980
harbornissan.com
relentlessrpm.com
(941) 629-1171

* HorsePower Logic/
Limitless Performance
843 West 13th Ct.
Riviera Beach, FL 33404
horsepowerlogic.com
(561) 842-8333

Oh and yes Harbor Nissan is our first official Nissan Dealership. Maybe Grubbs Infiniti will come online soon so we have one of both!

Pro Tuners can do it.

Osiris Standard will be a few months.

It is released. But you will have to find a Pro Tuner in your area to do it.

Osiris Tuner is available for the HR, but at this time we do not have all the HR ROMs patched. So confirm with us before ordering it that we have the ROM for our car patched.

Other companies will use a single ROM that they have tuned on multiple cars, we don't do it that way. We patch the individual ROMs so that you don't have problems that may not arise right away.

I'm getting my car tuned next Saturday by HorsePower Logic but the guy told me that the timing part of Osiris isn't doing what it's suppose to.. you think that'll be "patched" by then?

Hmmm, I am sure if all these other vendors are using the software it's working just fine. Your vendor may need to learn the software more.
