For the 19in GT-S volk rims, will the F20 R25 combo work w/o rolling fenders and w/ stock suspension?

You probably won't need spacers.

Probably a dumb question that I already know the answer to, but I will ask it anyway for the good of the order:

This weekend I installed 15mm slip-on type spacers. The studs I have are ~10mm longer than OEM, to suit the 10mm spacers I had installed previously. Now when I install my wheels with the 15mm spacers installed, I get ~7.5 turns until they are torqued to 82 lb-ft. Based on the M12x1.25 thread pitch, I am achieving 9.37 mm engagement (i.e. 7.5 turns x 1.25 mm/turn = 9.37 mm). Recommended thread engagement is at least one diameter's-worth, or in this case 12mm, so I am at 78% of recommended thread engagement.

So the question is, what is the failure mode in this scenario? Do the threads strip due to OEM level seating torque carried by insufficient threads? Do the threads strip due to axial load on the nuts from lateral force on the wheel (i.e. sideways car motion trying to "torque" the wheel off the wheel hub")? Do the lug nuts loose seating torque due to insufficient thread engagement?

Do I need to leave it parked until the situation is remedied, or could I drive it ~100 miles and just check lug nut torque every day?

Question Are these spacers garbage?

I'm just wondering if you guys think these are junk or not? The price seems too good to be true, and you know what they say about that.

There are lots of great vendors here selling high quality spacers at reasonable prices.

Based on the listings picture I would say yes.

They're not hub centric and you may have some trouble bolting them up since they seem to be missing some holes.....

stay clear of those, I would only buy reputable spacers. If a spacer fails, your whole cars fails.

must be hub AND wheel centric.

Its great that they could mount up to the hub and be hub centic, but youre still defeating the purpose of the ub itself if the wheel doesnt have a collar to center on either..

the weight of your car rests on the lugs otherwise and it is NOT intended to do that.. vibration is a concern but its a distant secondary issue to the resting weight issue.

that hub is there so the whole thing rests on it, and not on your lugs.

PLENTY of ebay spacers that have a hub AND wheel centric center collar for our cars.

Probably comes with a small roll of knock-off brand 3M type tape.
"Sticks right to hub. No tools required!"

Magic!

OP: PM me with what size spacers you're looking for, and I'll see what I can do. I usually recommended H&R because of the high quality. They do cost a bit more than those eBay spacers, though.
