Selling my volks. Wanna go back to stock. Just a wider tire than weak 245's. You should take a reading comprehension class...

They should fit, but will be PINCHED a bit. They are approved down to 9".
The real problem is that the DIAMETER is way out of spec for VDC. They are 1/2" shorter than the stock fronts! You would need a shorter front tire to meet VDC specs. I agree with other poster...why invest $$ on these tires for STOCK rims? yeah..they're wider, but then you have this stuff I pointed out here to deal with.

would a 20mm spacer on the front and a 25mm on the rear on a nismo stock suspension work for the nismo stock wheels with a 245f and a 265r or will i have rubbing issues with the fenders?

It seems that this method is common sense. I fail to understand What size spacers should I get? threads.

ok so ive searched every where and i haven't gotten a clear answer to my problem atm. I bought a set of te37s that are 5x130 from a member from another forum that included a conversion adapter/spacer to make it fit on our 5x114.3 pattern. when i installed the spacers, the hub fits perfectly inside but when i torqued my factory lugs up to bolt up the spacer to my car, the spacer in the end has a bit of play in it in which i can wiggle the spacer back and forth. I test drove my car to see if that would cause a problem and when i drive and brake, i get noises as if my rear wheels are not spinning straight and when i checked, i found rub marks on my struts. How do i stop the spacers from moving so my car will stop making noises while i drive?

^ Maybe the stock lug nuts (closed end) are bottoming out....not allowing the spacer to tighten up. Try some open end lugs and see if that cures the problem. Do NOT drive the car unless the spacers/wheels are fully torqued to spec and have zero movement.

Somewhat similar situation for me when installing my Z1 Motorsports spacers yesterday. The spacers apparently have longer studs because if I installed the spacer and bolted it up with the supplied nuts when I put on the wheel my stock lug nuts bottom out on the studs.

I ended up using the stock lugs to bolt up the spacers and the supplied spacer nuts (open ended) to bolt up the wheels. Don't really like doing this so I'll be purchasing some extended length lug nuts very soon. I'm assuming this may be a somewhat common problem so just giving a FYI to anybody that may have this issue.

Car looks great though with the 25/30 setup......I"ll get some pics posted up.

I don't think this has been covered in this thread yet, but lets say I'm driving down the road and all of a sudden I see my tire roll past me because my spacer failed. Moments later my car spins into a tree and is a total loss.

Is the insurance inspector going to deny my claim because of the spacer?

That's my biggest worry right now.

Did anybody here with bolt on spacers upgrade their oem studs to a higher quality stud that can better withstand the added strain?

My new Konigs are +30 and my friends are telling me my car looks like a "sunken battleship", whatever that means.

Id try and play it off as an OEM part or something came with the car that I had no knowledge of. If you add this part to your policy then they might cover it if something where to happen. Definitely call them and ask.

If you buy a quality spacer your konigs will fail first...and haven't you learned don't do anything to impress your friends...

No they will not deny your claim

Slip on spacers with ARP studs, strong as hell, screw the bolt on crap. Slip on spacers are available up to 20mm.

Hello everyone, I read the first 5 pages and tried to search for G35 rays on this thread. I am wondering what size spacers I can run with those wheels on. They have the OEM tire size. I am also lowered about 1.5" on coil overs. I was thinking 20-25 but pretty sure that will mean I'm rolling or cutting. I would not care normally but one of my rear fenders has a small build up of rust and I worry that rolling will make it worse. I can provide pics if needed.

Just measure the distance from your tire to the inner most edge of your quarter panel, bam! There's your spacer size.

Anyone buy spacers from this outfit before?

http://www.ezaccessory.com/Billet_Hu...p/5114-10n.htm

About 50% of the price of the same size/type spacer from Eibach. I know "you get what you pay for", but given the material type and assuming they are machined with parallel faces (should be since advertised as CNC), it seems like there isn't much that could be messed up here.
