FAQ: Official wheel "SPACER" thread!
HI, I have an 06 350z and just bought a new set of rims 18 x 8.5 with an offset of 32. I was wondering for spacers, how many mm would you guys put with an offset like this???
Thanks

I am looking to get these rims on my 2005 Grand Touring Roadster. The rim sizes are 19x8.5 ET20 5x114.3 67.1 front and 19x9.5 ET20 5x114.3 67.1 rear. They are saying that they will be flush. I have no idea what offsets are and don't care to learn. I am just wondering if I will need to get some spacers when these arrive or not.
[QUOTE=VMRWheels;9628494]I would measure the clearance you have between the tire and fenders.

It seems that this method is common sense. I fail to understand What size spacers should I get? threads.

Well seeing as the back will be almost identical to stock (only +1mm on the offset)
I can tell you I ran a 25mm + 3mm spacer on my 06 with stock rims, stock suspension with a 245/45/18 Nitto Invo and it worked fine and was pretty flush.
But that could maybe just be a starting point for you. I'm not sure why you would buy wheels with stock like offsets, they suck.

Ok..will you *NEED* spacers? NO.
You will, however, need a HUB RING to fit your 66.1 hub...make sure they can provide that or you'll have to order a 67.1/66.1 hub ring set.
BTW..rethink the *learning thing* because you'll be lost as to what effect such an offset change will have on the final positioning of your wheels (ie, how far out they will sit). I could tell ya that or you could go here:
You will need to know your stock offsets..I'll give to ya...+30F and +33R

No, I'm not saying it wouldn't work and I didn't mean to sound sarcastic, sorry if it did.
I'm sure you know the stock rears take 245/45's. Just curious as to why you'd want to go bigger. Far as I know, most go smaller than stock tires to get a stretched look.

Oh my bad! hate the stretched look I like wide tires on rear. Just wondering if the tire would rub with my 1.5 drop and +25 spacer on the rear? wondering if anyone has this setup on there stock 18's v2
