Hey guys I just got a plenio screen. I do not have the GPS that comes with the unit but was going to use it as a screen anyways. One thing when I press on the navigation icon nothing happens is it possible that this is due to not having the GPS wired unit attached to the plenio screen??? Any help would be appreciated!!!

Does have the SD icon on the main screen? When nothing happens its because there is no navi software present.

 

Are you sure the sd card is even inside the plenio?

 

Ah damn no SD card is present in the darn thing!!! Can you load the info on to the card to enable it to work or is the card proprietary???? Damn did not know I needed that darn card!!!!

Hope they are not hard to find!!!

 

You can buy any sd memory card and load the navi on it your self. Did yours not come with an sd card?

 

I bought the unit used for a good price I thought! Unfortunately no SD card or Gps antenna came with it trying to source one now!! Lol. Should be interesting!!!!

Still unable to source a GPS antenna. But I have the unit so it may be able to work as a screen for what I am not really sure yet. Looking for the GPS software or an SD card for the unit right now as well as the GPS antenna...

 

Have you tried emailing those guys on ebay who were selling them to see if they can find you a source into getting one?

 

I have been unable to find any sellers that have the 2100 on Ebay unfoirtunately..

Can any one send me a copy of the SD card that came with the system for a fee????? Would love to get the software my Navigation function on the touch screen will not work in any way with out the card!!!!

 

What card are you talking about? I would think any SD Card would work with the navi. What software are you wanting, the default software that came with it or the modified ocn8?

 

Unfortunately I did not get an Sd card with my unit. I am unable to access the navigation software part of the 2100. I am looking for am Sd card with the original software to make my unit function nav wise..

The default software is crap anyways. Buy a new sd card and get ocn8 on it and you'll be good to go.

 

Just purchased mine on ebay. While waiting my unit comes in, I'm trying to learn more about this mods. Hopefully, o2sys will be able to help me out.
