Cutycuty? Is that the color matching 3-in-row game?

Does it work well as a monitor? I have a double din/nav with a Farenheit in my cubby for movies. Wanted the option to do Nav in the top and movies on the bottom.

The resolution difference will be dramatic. And I don't mean that in a good way.

I know the resolution sucks as a LCD monitor but its so small that its not that bad actually. You can watch DVD's just fine and it will pretty clear and very watchable. Just like watching it on a regular LCD tv. Don't expect HD or Blueray quality of course.

The only issue with that is that the Plenio will not switch sources automatically. So even though you can add one, you would have to exit out of the navi, click on line-in icon and etc...might be fun at first but will get pretty annoying afterward.

and since you are OCD i'm sure you wont like it

Thanks to o2sys for the help, files, and everything. Finally got mines done.

Only thing I wish is the navi would boot up from the start. Hopefully someone will be able to hack it to boot up from the start in the feature.

Anybody test out the gps stability with the gps unit mounted behind the dash area?

I finally had the screen installed on my car with the OCN8 software. However, I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the lid because it keeps falling down. I will post some pics when I'm done with the lid.

Thanks to o2sys and 06blueZ for the software and installation. I don't think I could get this mod done without your helps.

350Speed, did you use the original springs on each side of the lid?
on my 06, I couldnt use the little gear things that make the lid open smoothly, but the springs both went on without an issue. if you can, post a picture of how you cut the cubby out on your 07.

I didnt take a very good pic of it, but this is the best one i have of how my springs went back on.

06blueZ,
I believe I cut it exactly the same way in your picture above. However, I couldn't get the springs back on because there was not enough room for the longer leg that will attached to the screen. I will try to take off the double sided tape on the screen to have more room for the springs.

Yes, I did. While cutting the hole, I was trying to bring the screen to the front as much as possible and didn't plan to use the springs untill talking to you. I will try again tonight.
