Whats on the Part 2 file for downloading, it won't expand. Looks like everything is present in the 1st download when comparing files to the pdf manual.

Ok, I'v decided not to sell this..

but it looks like one of by bitmap images of the 480x234 skin has become corrupted...

can anyone zip and email me the data folder 480_234? It's in the ui_igo8 directory...

Thanks for sharing that. That was one of the things I was seriously wanting to incorporate when I first purchased this unit. I still haven't installed mine, though, and it's just sitting in the garage. If and when I get around to it (which may never happen..), I may try that SD card extension.

Updated myinstall a little bit.. I went with the 2006 nav cubby and made a custom button plate, $250 useless buttons? no thanks.. the aluminum panel I made just lifts out, sits on there nice and snug.

also you can see the remote SD card mount under where my custom plate covers, it works great.

Hey guys, got the unit, installed OCN8 on it, but am having trouble getting a satellite signal. It's just sitting there with a giant red X on it. When I click on the satellite icon, it takes me to an options screen where I'm just seeing three blinking bars. Thoughts?

Are you inside a garage? Sometimes I'd have to wait until I pull out the garage before it'd start picking up signal.

Edit..that 2006 nav cubby with the custom plate is SLICK..looks really nice. But I do like how I can close the lid at night if I don't want to use it.. I'll definitely have to pick up that sd card. Searching POI/Inserting address could be better on OCN8 imo. The roads and stuff are really out dated..a few times it takes me some odd route, tells me to exit the highway off early and take the inside way...few times took me to dead ends (that really ticks me off).

Also if the files on mega upload is corrupted let me know and i'll re-upload it.

Negatory. I may just put the stock software back on and see. I hope the ***** didn't sell me her bad unit for $150!

They were corrupted when I originally downloaded it a couple of weeks ago, but are fine now.

Or it could have been the Error: map usa_colorado.fbl, not really sure which one of the two because it has been a while. I also did delete most of the POI (Places of Interest) so now it does start up quicker. I did encounter an error that happens off n' on, It happens when you try to enter the name of a new city, I got it to work sometimes but often times I just hit the recent button and select my city from there. If there is a solution to this problem please let me now.

I have also have a second plenio for sale if you are located by San Diego but it is missing the gps antenna, however there have been post here that confirm an aftermarket antenna will also work.
Thank you, if it wasn't you. I would have wasted more than an hr trying to figure out what the message was all about. Thanks again.
if you have an error message, delete the state.

Assuming you have to use the OEM Navi cubby for this?? How hard was the install btw?? Scale from 1-10, and how much labor does it take?? I might consider this lol.
