Hey does anybody have a copy of the ocn8 software all together?? I was hoping to get THE ENTIRE COPY and just copy and paste it to my 2gb SD. So that way its just plug n play. Anybody wanna e-mail it?? -Thanks

**NVM just saw the first post**

Would it be quicker if it was e-mailed??

Striker27 is this the same problem you had?? If so, is there some where i can find that antenna? o2sys any input? Was this the cable u got for striker27? Anyways like i said i just bought my 2nd NIB plenio off of ebay. So i dont need the second one but i would like to know if i can find that antenna somewhere?? i highly doubt you will be able to find just the GPS. It would be like a needle in a hay sack.

The manufacture DVS pulled out of the US market for quite some time now. So support is gone.

I dunno if the GPS will work or not; but you can certainly down load the maps for OZ for OCN8

It should definitely work. OCN8 and iGo are very popular in other countries. I just got it installed in my car, but it seems some parts of my map are different colors. For example, the roads are fine, but some areas during the day are yellow instead of gray, and at night some are gray instead of black. Anyone know how to fix this? Or is it normal? I used the SD card files on the first post. And I was wondering if there are any newer maps I can use? 2008 maps work alright but still seem dated. Ive looked all over the place and I cant find anything new, except for the newer iGo which the plenio doesnt support.

I'll post some pictures of the setup later

the color change is nightmode, automatically changes colors for easier viewing during the night.

you can turn the feature off.

Thanks for your reply, i'll do some more searching as there are different brand navs on ebay here. This is a unit i found here in OZ, looks very much like the PLENIO!
Can any one through a thought at this. This is in AU$ which works out to US$180.00
Thanks.

Getting ready to install. I did not get the DVD or owners manual with my unit. Does the DVD load the driver neded to connect GPS unit to a P.C. or is this even possible? What is the DVD needed for if anything?

The plenio cannot connect directly to the PC. Even though there is a USB port, it has no use. Its believed that the USB port was only used by Plenio themselves to do service updates but is no longer available anyways. SO there for its no use.

The DVD is just a backup of the crappy navi software that comes pre-installed. You dont really need it.

Just download the two files in the my original post and copy over to the SD Card and you should be set.

You may have too many POI stored in your SD Card. Honestly you dont need all POI. Delete most POI that are from stated you will never visit.

I only have POI of my two surrounding states.
