so long as you have true coilovers you can use a toe arm (spring bucket replacement arm)........if you are on oem coilovers, then you need the SPL pro midlink......OR keep the oem spring bucket and use the sitty spc eccentric bolts.
many toe arms manufactures listed earlier in the toe arm section..

Hey Jason you helped me out last year with ride height and the infamous SPC a arm clunk, Im so over those A arms that Im looking at SPL v3. Im very busy(lazy..lol) and was wondering if there was anything else needed to replace due to SPL having solid bushings and the rest of the car having OEM bushings.
Jason-
Have you heard much about the Tein Comfort Sport coilovers?(I can't seem to find much about them on the forums). http://www.thmotorsports.com/tein/te...3/i-34935.aspx
What is the actual ride heigh adjustment? How much lower then stock will it initially start out with and how low can it go at its lowest setting? I don't understand all those numbers. Would you recommend these for DD since they are extremely close to OEM?

Hi jason just wanted to ask but for a setup thats mainly for daily driving and some minor track time maybe 6 times a year 10 maybe at most. would the kinetix camber package be a descent option for adjustability http://www.importpartspro.com/kirafrcareca.html. i dont mind running an aggressive alignment as most of my cars have. i do plan to get a one piece coilover system/ true coilover as a term more used to the z thanks for the input. im also open to recommendations. thanks again.

Hey guys I'm looking to get these coilovers... (They have a very close to stock spring rate and they are EDFC compatible). I daily drive my car so I don't want a very harsh ride. My only concern with these coilover's is the drop height. According to Tein the drop heigh Max for front is 2.3"(Lower then stock) and rear is 1.1"(Lower then stock). I have tanabe GF210's right now and I want to be able to go lower then them in the rear(1.2"). With the Comfort Sports and Flex the max drop is 2.3"(front) and 1.1"(Comfort) 1.3"(flex). Does this seem right? I hear about people slamming(like 1 finger gap-0 finger gaps between wheel well and tire) their cars with Tein's but according to their website it can't happen.... So TEIN owners how low is your car? (Preferably people with comfort sports)
Yes I searched.. There is maybe one thread with the comfort sports and it's not very helpful.
Edit: Like this guy https://my350z.com/forum/5993963-post10.html He says he has lowered the car 1.5" in the rear but I called Tein and they said that it wasn't possible.... What is going on?!?

Jason,
hear you are the guy with some answers. im currently riding all stock suspension On 20" Rays with x 10 rear and x 9 fronts. im Wanting to Go With Full Coils Stance GR+Pro Coils, And SPL Front And Rear Camber And SPL Toes Rear, Also Should I Get The SPL Traction Bars with all this? I Guess What im Wondering If there A Less Expensive way For the Toe And Camber Than These or Should I Spend The Money And Get them. Also Is The GR+Pro Good If You Know, Or Should I Look At Some Other Stance Suspension Coils. Thanks For Your Time And for Any Info.

Thanks for the direction, would you do both on the lower arm then. The second one being the shock mount. So all in all it would be the compression rod, the two on the lower arm and replacement of A-Arm on both sides.
Hello all, I started a new thread for my querries but no replies yet so sticking it here for some suggestions

I have the KW variant 3s coilovers which are absolutely very good quality and performance and i'm hooked but want to go for the true rear coilover setup.
I saw this pic on this informative thread and was just wondering if KW make a true rear coilover for the 350z? look so

If there is no such system for the 350z i would like to upgrade my var 3 front and rear springs to linear springs as opposed to progressive KW OEM ones. I figure it should not be a problem if i get the sizes(height/diameters) right and specify the same max spring rate as the original. The damper should be able to handle it right?
For the rear i would go for the 2.5" ID spring so i can fit the SPL midlink bucket to give me the next best solution to the true rear coil setup.
I will be calling or emailing KW to see if they can provide these or go with swift springs.
In effect i will be upgrading my Var 3 s to clubsport specs
Any thoughts on this or any pitfalls i have missed?

I'm not sure, but I don't think the V3's can be converted (not sure they have a threaded body) but they do offer the Clubsports, which IIRC are only offered in the spring on body config. As for the updated springs, I believe they offer revalves and spring updates through their service centers. I would imagine they can set up a linear spring and valving package with no problem. Only downside is the cost and time to complete. Best thing to do for these types of questions is what you've started to do, consult KW.
Thanks for dudes.
I was not sure this was that clubsports because there is no external reservoir in the pic which i believe it has just like the var3
I may be wrong.
As for the "conversion" I mean it will be like the clubsport in terms of having linear springs both front and rear but of course the rear will be seperate OEM style but i would specify 2.5" diameter springs so it could fit the SPL midlink. Even if revalving is needed and including the springs it should still work out cheaper than buying the clusport outright.

Another question for those with solid or urethane or mixed bushing set ups. Are the Solid bushings from SPL noisy or create a lot of vibration? I like to enjoy my Z as a DD too and with my suspension setup I can tweak it to suit my needs for track road race etc within a short time but with the bushings once its done its done
I know the solid bushings are better and if well engineered should last a long-time and be no worse than urethane for NVH. Can those of with the SPL setup or even mixed SPL and stock or urethane bushings share your experiences please. I had opted out of the well priced Whitelines due to lack of the compression rod bushing but I have now found a company in England called Superpro who make the urethane compression rod bushing and all other urethane bushing for the Z including the steering rack and swaybar bush and more. They are big in UK racing scene and cater for all popular cars.
http://www.superpro.eu.com/Catalogue/ then click online catalogue
Main UK retailers: http://www.tdcautomotive.com/02-Coupe_B243AI.aspx
Their parts list/names are confusing as they use different names to the OEM suspension parts. See schematics below to locate what part corresponds to what.
They even offer eccentric bushes to dial in fixed camber, toe and castor increases where applicable. The increase for front camber is 0.5degree. Need to find out the rest. It is appealing to those with mild lowering or needing to extend aftermarket part range
It frees up the option of mixing this up Whitelines for full urethane bush setup all round. Superpro is not cheap but with Whitelines should offset the overall costs, leaving room for other parts
.
It now all depends on the NVH feedback with SPL bushes before I pull the trigger either way..
The only pitfall I can see going all urethane is that most good aftermarket arms have solid bushes which will mean mixing solid and urethane in some areas but I these dynamically it should not be too much of an issue.
