well, we have been working long and hard this week. He next day aired all the parts, we pretty much work from 8am to like 1 or 2 in the morning. We set a goal and don't stop until we get there. Help that he owns the shop. He says this is fun because his shop mostly builds mustangs, camaro's, trans ams, gto, vettes ans stuff liek that so he says this is fun something different. Had a few other guys helping as well here and there. The labor is dirt cheap too, he refuses to let me pay him anything for all the work. He just says I owe him alot of beer next time we go to the bar. Hopefully tomorrow all this work and no beer, I could use one!

For sure, this sound one interesting build...

I'm amazed that you've not had any ECU problems. I'm running the cams from the Nissan JGTC GT300 car and we can't get the car to idle without a reflash...

we tried the drilled butterfly and were thinking of going to a cable driven throttle...

as is, we're looking at an idle of 1500 RPM, to get everything tickety boo

but there again we have a higher redline to play with

Well, finished and running last night about 3am. Wanna get early start today on it. Runs pretty good but very rich and doesn't want to idel well at all right now. Idle lopes really bad like between 300 and 700rpm. Other than that runs good.

drove it for about 30 minutes last night and other than the idle runs very very strong. We brought a gtech pro with just to kinda see when it stops pulling and stuff. Not alot of torque way down low like it used to have but above 5500-6k it pulls reals strong until like 8800-9000rpm and then levels off after 9000-9200rpm. Pulls very very hard and revs likea motorcycle now. Very happy with the power it has. Now I can't wait to put the spray to it!!

The sound is incredible sounds like a cross between a indy car and a ferrari. Almost scary reving 9k, but it revs out so fast it amazing. Just a few hick ups nothing some tuning won't fix.

I only got about 3 hours sleep this morning wanna get it on the dyno and get it tuned this morning to drive again before it rains. Supposed to rain today through tuesday the weather says.

Sounds a very similar tickover issue to on my build, we made a throttle up with an extended spindle to allow a cable linkage... but that meant we were able to tweak the throttle manually with a pair of pliers...

we're holding off on going to the cable operated throttle at the moment, as we managed to get a great idle going at 1500rpm manually (it's loud), so the ECU is being reflashed with that as the revised idle

Have fun

well, had somethings come up and I had to come home here(wife got called into work today for abit). Nate is still there running it and tuning it.
When he is done I will post the actual charts it is cool. at factory redline it actually makes less power than stock did. but from 7k-9k it picks up real qucik.

Still tuning and he is working on the idle yet, but after he leaned out abit( still on the rich side though. Lots of tuning to go, I think there is still more to be had, I will post the nitrous charts as well later when done.

N/A without nitrous running rich yet: on mustang dyno

Haha, I got free labor but sitting down now as I have time and going through my receipts to see what I spend, I think it cost me around 11k all said and done.

338whp at NINE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED RPM ? ? ? WOWOWOWOWWOWOWOWOWW

Just that rpm figure boggles me mind.......that's frigging incredible! I bet with some even more aggressive cams you could pull out 350whp from it.

Is this on pump gas (have to be 93octane with that compression) or is this on race gas?
