My 2JZ-GTE VVTI swap thread.
I don't know your budget on a rad and fan setup, but Sean at Titan is going to be building me a setup similar to his. Dual pass with 2 SPAL fans to fit the Z and have 2jz outlet/inlet.
I'm sure he can build something that will fit and perform your needs.

Hey man whatsup build is solid as I've recently said , but I was just wondering with you having to get a custom rad support and what not what caused this ? I've seen the swap done a lot cheaper and less labor intensive . I do want to do this to my Z soon and will probably start by picking up an aristo motor swap and do the basic maintenance on it in my garage while on a stand I till I can gather all the parts I need which is the reason I'm asking .

Because the CD0009 is taller than the R154 which most are using, it pushes the engine forward. It was either a custom rad support or install push-type fans.
graffkid732, since the V160 is almost as tall as the CD0009, did you test fit everything yet?

And to help people out, here is how to wire and start the 2JZGTE: (Aristo JDM harness)
E10 is the small one. E9 is the bigger one on the left.

I collected the info from the internet. I will test it out this week and report back later.

So did you have to notch your crossmember ? I ended up scraping the idea of stock mounts. Motor was to far forward and had to much angle for my liking. So had to make new mounts and I notched the cm. sits great now and I was able to push it back just over an inch. Which gave me 3.25 inches to fit fans.

Hey man now when you say start and running what else is involved to actually drive it lol and I'm assuming you needed to extend certain wires and what not ?
You also need to wire the starter, fuel pump, hook up the VQ water temp sensor, wire the A/C (if you want it), make power steering lines for the 2jz PS pump and you have a driveable swap to the exhaust shop. I may forgot a thing or two, but that is the main things for a swap.
I just got my harness back. Costed me like $450. All that is left to do is to pick up the E10 connector plug tomorrow from the junkyard, wire it and start the POS car

It took him 5 months to finish the swap, I don't want to wait another 5 months more for him to figure out how to wire it.
Also this guy knows the 2JZGTE harness like the back of his hand. He removed everything that is not needed from the harness, extended it and soldered in the new sensors and injectors.

RT tuning might consider doing this swap but it isn't cheap and quick and will be a paper weight in the average NJ shop. Import Intelligence is where I go to get swaps done but they are also in PA. I'd advise against this swap if you plan on getting a NJ inspection. Sorry for the OT Mid. Nice Harness and GL starting her up!
O.G, I don't live in the US, so price of parts and labor won't be even close.
I had a misunderstanding with the guy who was working on the car with me, so I towed it to another shop. They will work on the exhaust and doing some body work at the same time. I'm between jobs now and moving to another city by the end of this month. Hopefully it will be finished by then.
Also ordered a new set of wheels and a couple of OEM parts from CZP.
And I finally gave in for now on getting the OEM tach to work and ordered the Speedhut gauge.
