Pics of the car at the shop getting some body work and exahust fabrication.

I ordered a Walbro 485 fuel pump just to make sure I break 700whp on C16.

Also a lot of other small stuff.

P.S. please, dont mind the stock wheels. Witing for the ES2 19" to arrive. 19" 10" +15 fronts and 19" 11" +15 for the rear.

I haven't updated this thread in a while. I have been busy with a new job and relocating to another city. Car is almost finished, but need to connect some wirings and clean it up.

Also, just bought another car. A clean 2003 Q45. Will post pics when I get it.

Here is the custom Speedhut gauge I ordered. Looks exactly like the OEM one.

Sorry, I was super busy with the new job and the moving.

I took the car to another shop. The old one was half assing the work at the end. Took the engine out to change one of the engine mounts. And sending a lot of parts for polishing.

The new shop is very slow at work and I'm not rushing them. I just want them to do it right this time.

I'm really enjoying the Q45. Its a clean 2003 that has only about 100k on the odometer. Its fast and comfy.

Cool project bro, I wonder how can I get the exact speedhut gauge that you have?
Is there a part number or its fully customized?

Its a custom one.

Send them an email and ask them to make you one just like the Order ID: 75500 - Order Date: 4/8/2014.

It was only like $180.

Its good to see another guy from the Gulf. I'm in Jubail

How are you getting the speedo and engine temp to function with the can bus? Also are you retaining ac or any hvac controls and traction and how? Thanks

The speedo should work normally. And you need to use the engine temp from the VQ and hook it somewhere in the cooling system. They dont use the can bus system.

Yes, Im retaining the A/C.

Im not sure if traction is going to work. Its useless anyway.

Me personally was going to go with my 03 cd008 transmission just for the simple fact I have meticulously maintained it, didn't grind , externally slaved and fig I'd run it till it needs a rebuild then rebuild with 009 internals. The thing is I'm trying to come up with a solution to the adaptor plate clutch/flywheel set up with out having to spend ask that cash for the kits that are out there.
We should have a 2jz swap thread.

Speedo get the signal from the rear diff's ABS sensor. It will work normally. It does not use the can bus.

The same for the engine temp. Just use the VQ temp sensor and install it with one of these or find a way.

I'm using the OEM pedal and welding the cable to it.

The cable is out of old an Nissan Cefiro/Altima. It's a perfect fit.

Will try to go and get some pics.
