thanks i think it should have been a bit higher if i didn't install that 3.3fd but the gears pull very good and tires stay to the ground. i was at 407 whp at 10 to 11 psi with the stock 3.5 gears but when we did the first run with the 3.3 fd it dyno'd at 380 whp with the old tune so up the power to 15 psi and made 436 whp and 399 tq. i'm happy with these numbers especially coming off a dyno dynamics (heartbreaker dyno).

I highly HIGHLY recommend you stay away from Walboro. I bought 2 for my set up and they both failed in less than 6 months. Go with DeatschWerks. I bought 2 of them to replace the Walboro's and they were so strong that I had to pull a fuze on one of them and run a single pump before I got a retune because they flowed/pushed so much. I haven't had any problems with them at all since the install, and its been at least a year or more.

well we tried installing the the walboro 400 but didn't fit so we went down to the aeromotive fuel pump. I have a question for you CMYTAILSBLINK, i saw one of your old youtube videos what dyno where you on and what was your setup that got you to your 500 whp mark?

If your talking about when i did my first built, I'm not sure of what kind of dyno it was, but it was at Performance Factory in orlando. My set up on my first built was a 3.8l sleeved block, with stock heads. The STS kit was their upgraded kit, with a Ball bearing turbo 67mm, with a .58 Ar housing, and a bigger intercooler. Fuel system was an APS extreme system good for 1000whp. The set up yeilded 558rwhp @18lbs on pump gas, and 624rwhp @21lbs on C16. Is that the info you were looking for, or anythign else more specific?

i currently have a stage 1 importpartspro long block, a basic AAM fuel return system, aeromotive fuel pump, southbend clutch and z1 ultra lightweight flywheel, 600cc deutchwerk injectors, with a haltech plat pro piggy back. the turbo im running is a sts brand gt35 equivalent.

Great choice going with Southbend, thats what is in my car now.
I had the Haltech on my first set up. I was so pissed when we couldn't use it for the new build. So damn expensive.
You might want to consider getting rid of the Ultra lightweight flywheel. I had one on the first set up and i ended up switching it. Sure, you'll rev quicker from the lower rotational weight, but you'll make more boost faster with a heavier flywheel. The extra weight adds load to the engine, you'd be surprised at the difference. Well worth it to me.
Also, a heavier flywheel won't slow down as fast, so it will hold your RPM's up between shifts, helping to keep you in boost/power band.

I can't remember the brand i used, but i think any HFC should work just fine. Just make sure its not cheap and going to come apart a kill your turbo. That has happened to one of the other rear mount guys, i think it was AthenG.

Just had my car tuned using Uprev Osiris, at Dynosty. With the STS turbo kit, upgraded y pipe, berk test pipes, walker mid pipe, kinetix intake manifold, 600cc injectors, and snow water/meth injection, the car put down a max of 368whp and 350tq on a dyno dynamics dyno.

Bump....
Damn reading all 146 pages made my eyes hurt. Ok thinking of going f/i and was debating between sts(if I find a good deal) and bp. Not looking for big power gains bit I'd like to be around 370ish whp. One question with this kit that I don't think was answered, will this kit work with a slammed Z? I saw boozt set up with a custom pipe and looked like a lot of clearance. Vortech s/c was on top of my list until boozt(I believe it's him) switched to sts and said it pulls way harder then his vortech.
Current power mods on the car: stillen intake box, motordyne 5/16 spacer, topspeed tp, x02 exhaust and osiris tuned by Shawn church. Dj # 284.9hp 272.3tq 04 Z
