If its like the previous setup, its between the supercharger and the air intake filter. My understanding of the old kit was it used a bypass valve and recirculated behind the MAF which is why its before the SC and not between it and the TB.

But that's purely speculative on the new version. I just don't think they changed much about the kit at all except for developing their version of the Rotrex.

No ETA on when revup kits would be released in USA. From what I've heard from Prodealers, they will remain a special order item from Japan.

So far so good with my setup, Sam is still getting ready to post his writeups.

After putting over 2,000 miles on the car I can post some impressions....

1st the car handles excellent after GTM dialed in my suspension, I do need to roll the rear fenders since I get a little rub on extra hard turns and decent bumps. Im still getting used to the paddles since they move with the wheel nailing down shifting in turns and other situations will take some practice before Im fully comforatable.

On the HWY Im getting about 26mpg which is more then I expected, this was while traveling between 75-80mph. Traction control is a must on the streets, at about half throttle it will slip even with traction control on coming out of a turn. The SC poors on the power without having to floor it. I was used to get on it pretty good while passing on the hwy when it was stock. Now if Im behind someone going 50mph and I pass at a bit more then half throttle Im doing 90-100mph by the time Im next to the other car. Needless to say this scared the hell out of my fiance the 1st time she drove with me LOL In stop and go traffic it runs fine, people keep staring at the SC sticking out of the hood which is a little funny.

I havnt quartered or tried to top the car out yet, not sure if I will until the bottom end is built this coming winter, not trying to blow the engine. More reviews in the future after some more driving...

sweet Marble.....thanks for the update. It's great to hear how happy you are. I saw your Z down at GTM and it looked great! I loved the yellow with the carbon fiber and the SC poking through the hood was awesome.

Sam has mine now and I can hardly wait to get it back. He is putting the HKS SC on my 6MT but he is also going to build and stroke the engine to 4.0L at the same time.

Looking forward to more updates from you.

Sam told me today that he got an eta for the ship arriving June 15

So I guess the wait time is more like 10-12 weeks for the parts, instead of 6-8, but that is all the "hands" of HKS.

Sam's end will take another 2-4 weeks estimate for the supplemental kit. Figure another week for shipping and another week for install...

No one really apparently knows what exactly is included in the revup kit, making it more money than the non-revup kit. The FS thread for a revup kit shows a set of 6 Nismo injectors that are purple (instead of the non-revup's 2 included aux. injectors), but dunno what the flow rates are.. Ther may be other differences as well..

I hope Sam is as excited to open up a revup kit and see and install one as much as I look forward to getting it installed.

I'm hoping everything is installed, tuned, by my Birthday (the end of July).

You'll probably be finished before me. Waiting suks, but it's just part of the game.

Sam also told me he has another 1 or 2 revup kits on order in addition to mine, but I'm not sure if those are spoken for or what Sam plans to do with those.

Looking forward to seeing GTM's upcoming posts/threads.

Yup, this isn't a customers car. Its another Z I'm building for the dealership. It is a 04 non Rev-Up. The GT Supercharger was installed and tuned by HKS USA.

Haven't heard anything about the Rev-Up kits, the only time I inquired about it was for your car.

Yea, the dyno was done at HKS USA. I am waiting on them to send me the graph's. This is a 6MT car, the only other engine mod it has is a HKS Hi-Power Ti. exhaust system.

How much would the dealership add to the pricing of the car with this kit??

Exactly. This will be a "turn-key" package built by the dealer. The car will be marketed as the MyNISMO.com Edition 350Z. There will be a story about the car and the build in SuperStreet Magazine. The collaboration will cross between MyNISMO.com x HKS USA x RAYS x Vertex USA.

Hey Marble, I was wondering how the pitch of the Amuse exhaust changed after the S/C install? Does it still sound the same/similar/better? I've heard the Amuse sounds goes to poop with a turbo, but am unsure of S/C applications.
