^ good lord...
i shaved my rear fenders... i was keeping in mind that when running a ON or OFF ramp at high speeds the tire will flex IN or OUT at the top, so you need a little wiggle room. that was my biggest fear when running the 305's, slicing my side wall open on a ramp, loosing control and crashing :O

If you run the correct offset, you can run a 19" wheel, wider tires AND not have to increase height AND not have any rubbing. A 10.5" wheel with a +27 or +30 offset I think would work and give you a flush look assuming you also rolled the fenders (maybe with a +30 or +32 and 305s you wouldn't even need to roll).

i'm running 10" wide rims, 18" mickey thompson drag radials in 305/35/18 without rub. I think the g35 has wider rear fenders because i don't have my rolled and still have a finger width between my rims and tires. I'm probably going to roll them and go to 325's though. The other option is to go down to 16's or 17's so i can get a thicker sidewall.
Cass: about the tires wearing, camber usually is'nt the issue with eating tires like everyone thinks. Toe is what eats tires. I ran 3* negative camber on mine when i first got it for corner handling and my tires didn't have any issues with wear. M series bmw's come factory iwth 2.5* neg camber. On my minitruck i was running -15* camber iwth no tire wear issues. When i went that low the toe was way out and toe is what causes the scuffing and dragging of the tires which eats them off. Your -1.3 camber is well within factory spec so it shoudln't eat tires. Have them adjust toe. I have mine aligned every year. It seems these cars can't hold an alignment for crap.

Just had it aligned last week. I will see how the new tires hold up once I make up my mind on them. I found the oil filter relocation kit I have been looking for:
Its all plumbed with -10AN lines and most importantly it retains the use of the stock filter. I need to put the Mocal thermo plate on this so finding the 20mm x 1.5 oil filter connection was clutch. It seems the industry standard is 3/4-16 using a huge Ford filter. Total cost on the cooler parts and install will be almost $1K This car eats $100 bills constanly.
Just had a random thought that the car may have roughly 8 quarts of oil in it with the new setup (it holds 6.5 right now)... I hope it helps.

dunno if you bought yours already but you could get this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=230516043866
and make your own lines. it will come out cheaper and look better.
be interested to see where you mount the new filter. its all quite a bit bigger than you'd think. I had to get creative with the mount. wouldnt look good in your pristine engne bay, but mine is all over the place so its ok

a grand?! that's stupid expensive. You better have had some insane oil temps to make you want to get that setup. Mine weren't even high at 16psi and no cooler but i added a cooler just in case.

Sell the APS oil pan and just put a oil pan spacer and regular oil pan in there if you need the space for the Mocal and fittings. Forget the $1k filter relocation kit! The Stillen deep oil pan looks like a nice clean option too though I've never seen it installed.

Most of the cost is already spent, the bulk was labor to fab the mounting in the crash bar, Mocal coolers, Mocal thermo plate, several fittings at ~$20 each and so on...
I considered selling the pan, but this is less headache to do right now, plus its a nice pan with baffles and fins and a mount for the temp sensor.

Cass,
See you at ZdayZ - dinner is on me, I am buying Raj dinner too after he uses Rocket fuel to crush me Mike, Sharif and the Forged folks - whoever else makes dinner. We will toast to the Cass, the survivor

See you there Paul
Just ordered the R888s from Treadepot.com - $310ea - $650 total with shipping. I figured I can't really hear much over the exhaust anyhow, so whats a little road noise gonna hurt. I just want to have the best chance at traction as possible.

Got the filter relocation kit installed finally, it required some slight modification of the nut that goes onto the factory filter hanger. It was too long to mount the relocator plate flush to the factory sandwich plate, so it needed to be ground down a bit. The filter and Mocal thermo plate is now mounted on the drivers side next to the oil pan. Here are the pics:
Also got the fenders rolled and put on the 295/30R19 Toyo R888s... all I can say is WOW!!! Caught a shift from 1st to 2nd at 6K rpm on my 12lb map yesterday and there was no spin at all, just hook and go. There is a little tire noise, but not that audible over the 3" exhaust.
