@rizk- we are testing cruise control this week. Shouldn't be an issue.
@str8dum1- vdc still works the brake system, but is not intrusive by closing the throttle like stock. from limited testing this works quite nicely for performance

Looks promising.

Stab in the dark, will it still close the throttle when the brake is pressed at the same time. Just curious for all the owners that like doing burnouts

I think he just said in the post above yours that it won't do that.

Cutting wire 101 fixes this as well. It's what I have done on my car for 2 years now with no issues.

maybe i've forgotten but did we decide that one would still need to buy the 500$ sensor from GM for the ethanol percentage to be calculated?

Jeff, I jus spoke to Dustin today about this and he assures me Haltech will have their own sensor, as for pricing I don't think were going to get a break!

actually i cant really even believe that they are still using that sensor. No current FF production (AFAIK) car uses that sensor anymore. They all just target AFR.

Haltech might have their own REbranded sensor, but it will be a GM part #

How do you know how much timing to run without knowing ethanol %?

I am not sure if my questions got answered so I'll repeat

Do we have to change out our upper o2 sensors with 'haltech' compatible sensors? Or will it let us retain the OEM sensors?

It can probably use the the factory O2 sensors but why would you?

They are so limited in range

How so? They go from 11.25 - 30 AFR.

I want to be able to swap my stock ECU back in to pass emmissions.

Changing upper sensors is a PITA.

The new unit is supposed to support OBD2, you will be able to pass with the haltech unit.

IMO thats the best part about the new unit.

Passing emissions is not part of the plan according to earlier posts...did I miss something???? Link to info about emissions?
