Dynosty: Haltech 350Z Pro Plug-In - OEM ECU Replacement
mine won't work anymore either. They stopped working when i upgraded to 1.10 which sucks because i had my car setup for boost by speed.
That is a open ended question
What exactly are you asking about?
I love the brake boosting
VDC not cutting throttle
Able to adjust my idle RPM instead of having to use cipher
You can set your redline and speed limit again no flash needed
You can set at what temp you want your fans to come on
There are so many tweaks that I just can't go over each and everyone

As far as the readiness I have not checked that yet but I had to get my HKS Camp 2 to read Generic Can instead of the Nissan parameters HKS usually uses if that means anything
Feedback: 2 days ago I brought the Z back to Cincy from Louisville, drove in the rain back home. Managed 26 mpg a 75 mph. This was on E85 on a built motor BP ST setup.
The car runs extremely smooth, even better than the Haltech Red-Box, I love the traction control functionality and Boost By Gear setup. Amazing, that the car just becomes more controllable.
Onto the E85 managed to find fast for 3.20 a gallon plus $1.00 off from my Kroger Plus card, Filled my tank for $2.20 a gallon on E85. The car runs and starts perfect.
Hal has set a soft rev-limit to 5K and 0psi boost cut until the car reaches a temp of 100 degrees.
Brake boosting is absolutely one of my favorite features.
The car idles much smoother, no more up and down from it transitioning to and from the ECU.
Im sure it does a lot more, but for me this is enough. I was happy I upgraded.
Cruise Control is a little different than OEM, but it works using factory buttons and works well.

Pretty important actually. We cant get TAGS unless car passes. + for engine swaps in other cars and such 96+. I care very much about this actually.
If it cant pass obd2 then ppl running will have to swap back to stock ecu to be able to pass. That would be a mess, and a nightmare.

sounds good. Hopefully you can give a nice demo of everything at Zdayz! How much spool did you gain from goin E85? dyno's?
Did Hal give you ECU manager 11 or is it online somewhere?

I am trying to convince Hal to let me pilot an installation that would allow installation of the stock ECU (since I must have it to regulate torque input b/w ECM and TCM for my 5AT). That will depend on his time and that man is busy!
But why use this over the older one then? The whole point is to not use the stock ECU.
STR8, I am sure the software is online, I haven't even plugged in. The shop is so close to me its 90 minutes from me to Hal so If I need something I just stop by.
there should be no reason why you cant use both EMS's Raj. No different than any other piggy back. Just need an autospart harness or something to tie the 2 together. Only time and money...
Yeah, I'd just be keeping the stock ECU around to sit on the CAN port, but it'd need to see the MAF, crank, cam, and a few other sensors. The problem is that if the stock ECU is on the CAN port, then the Haltech can't be (as it's not designed to be so there'd be collisions reading/responding to OBD for example), so it wouldn't be able to read the various CAN parameters, which would really limit its usefulness. Definitely needs to be thought through...
This new ECU is definitely worth it though, for the flex fuel support, more maps, more sensors, failsafes, etc.
