NWP 75mm throttle body
Just saying, a 6/10th is a big difference in the quarter mile and have the trap virtually unaffected. A claimed 12whp gain should increase both times and traps. Don't get me wrong, I've been an nwp supporter for awhile, just think the big time difference and no trap difference is strange.
(I have the SSIM as well but consistently ran high 13s with crappy 2.3 60's...trapping 101. This is before 4" intake/maf and any tuning)

Reason why I had him run on the same side when he had the stock TB. If we had time it was going to be removed and then ran again.
The time to switch out TBs and run after switching was 30-45min so the car was cooled down.

either way ill post rresuts nwp claims 15hp with no tuning so well see if thats true or not
Im hoping for the best because my car is just about maxed out on street tires only thing I can do now is add power im trying ti get to the 25th spot in the drag forum lol
im gonna pick one up. i sent them a message asking them if its better if i bore out the spacer and plenum to 75mm or leave the taper.

So I have a 2006 nonrev, and would love to believe NWP facebook claims of 12-32whp @ 5200-5800rpm, slap-on stock, no tune, TB solution. But didn't SGM really already prove this out for nonrev's.
Didn't they prove the biggest airflow restriction was the radial turn in the stock plenum when they fabbed a plenum with topside velocity stack?
Once they worked around that, their car was already running a big race cam profile + LTH....then tuned. Really isn't it all a symphony between AirIntake, correctly matched cam profile, and exhaust outlet sizing complimenting the two? They come as a team, no?
I don't see how larger intake stack, MAF housings, tubing, throttle bodies...solve the plenum design issue. The front door is only so big, and if you solve that then your nonrev is hostage to the smaller stock intake cam spec.
Logically I don't understand how NWP would get (or claim) these same SGM results without the other internal mods.

But yeah, I agree that everything works in conjunction. I still don't understand how changing just the throttle body will yield gains without at least changing the pipe size prior to the throttle body (Bernoulli's principle). I raised this question earlier but was not given a satisfactory answer.
Just ordered mine! Hopefully it'll be here by the end of the week.

dynos are more or less worthless unless you know how to read them also. everyone around here seems to look for these powerband wide gains for some reason. if a mod doesnt gain everywhere then the thing seems to get frowned upon. you guys need to figure your speed per gear span looks like and figure out what rpm range you need to optimize if you want to go as fast as possible when at wot. this mod actually makes power up top, where the stock de intake fails to. ive been running this mod over a year. its solid! i spent way, way more than they are selling it for, having certain unappreciated items fabricated when they weren't common. i gained a lot with it and my custom 3.5" intake. there was also some plenum throat enlarging and short turn radius porting that i did at the same time. that said i was more impressed with the datalogged gains i got with the 3.5" intake vs the tb... i wish id tried it in reverse just to see if there was any difference. regardless there is a huge restriction in the stock plenum turnaround, the throttle body and the intake tube diameter. i fixed them all separately so i could see what was making the most difference, but its really easy to just fix them all at once. the parts are out there!
