i know my oil pressure light works, because it was on right away when i first started the car since it had to build pressure, but it has not been on since, so idk, maybe my oil pressure is fine, ill still check but just thinking/typing out loud here.

Yeah, check the pressure and make sure your at or above the minimum pressure at idle. Hopefully, the code was just the solenoid.

If there is a oilpressure light yes. But then there should be a oilpressure sensor on there ;-)

from what i read, the 350z has a sensor for a gauge, and the g35 has a cheaper sensor to just trip a light when it does too low, so to check the pressure, ill need a gauge. but.....i know the light came on when i first started the car so i know the light works.

you know where i can get one of those testers?

yea, when basically any throttle is applied, it sounds great and has good power. it just sounds like that at about 700rpm and below. does not do it when the motor is cold, probably because when its cold, it idles higher than normal till its warm.
