This kinda stuff irritates me... I have gone through a very similar problem when I built my motor, and after it all I would not have traded it for some shop to do the work, there only 3 shops in the WORLD that I would have do this kind of work for me and there are nightmare threads all over the Internet about shady shops.... I know I did the work, I know I did it right.
Mrgrotel, keep up the good fight and get it fixed!!!

i will, ill get it figured out. i dont let things bother me. some people are the opposite of you, classless, and there isnt anything i can do that will change that.
thanks bjmax, im sure that sensor is the same for the g35. so you just unplug that and use that tester to see what the pressure is? where do you get that tester?
i know my oil pressure light works, because it was on right away when i first started the car since it had to build pressure, but it has not been on since, so idk, maybe my oil pressure is fine, ill still check but just thinking/typing out loud here.
Yeah, check the pressure and make sure your at or above the minimum pressure at idle. Hopefully, the code was just the solenoid.
ive now gone 80 miles, no code, almost positive it was a bad bank 2 solenoid. and this noise might be my exhaust hitting somehting but i dont think it is
so im reading that osiris does not read oil pressure, and also that g35s dont even have that sensor. so where am i able to get that oil pressure tester?
from what i read, the 350z has a sensor for a gauge, and the g35 has a cheaper sensor to just trip a light when it does too low, so to check the pressure, ill need a gauge. but.....i know the light came on when i first started the car so i know the light works.
yea, when basically any throttle is applied, it sounds great and has good power. it just sounds like that at about 700rpm and below. does not do it when the motor is cold, probably because when its cold, it idles higher than normal till its warm.
