if it was the other one i was going to let you use it since i have to send the passenger one to cali... but there goes that idea
I'm not 100% sure, but I think there would be a fitment issue between the DE and HR cats.

Ultimate Racing. They have a 5 year warranty, but I'm not sure how long they've been on the car. I've owned it 4-1/2 years and I'm not sure when the previous owner put them on. I tried calling UR earlier, but didn't get through. Gonna try again. I have a stock cat on right now so I can drive the car if I had to.
Edit: Just got off the phone with UR. The guy was extremely helpful and it might get warrantied out. The only issue is they don't make the cat in-house. They use a Magnaflow cat and then weld their piping on to make it fit the Z. He said it's possible that they only warranty up to 1 year, but he's going to check on it for me and see what he can do. Point being... first contact with UR seems like they have great customer service. That's what makes me stick with a company.
He suggested that since my Z is basically a track car now that I go with a test pipe to avoid any more problems with HFCs. High heat is what eats them up I guess, but I really don't want to rasp and extreme loudness of a test pipe. I think the motordyne ART pipes are supposed to solve those issues though.?.?.?

Hey Eric - I got that email about the race - that would be fun - will have to see where i'm at fininicicicicually -
Fith - I'll be going with a WIX fuel filter - but not i haven't changed mine out here - i HIGHLY suggest getting some line wrenches if ours indeed is a bolt in type - because HOLY CRAP - those things are sometimes very difficult to get undone - thanks for the heads up on not going with BMW - that was pretty expensive - but I think i would have tried lmao -
tony from motordyne told me via email "they dont make much of a difference in the F/A ratio when changing from HFC's. the built in defoulers will keep the CEL off about 98% of the time."
