OP, I put in a homemade catch can on my 08 Z, NA. Works great! Theres a write up here somewhere, just search it. Try Homemade Oil Catch Can or something like that. Also it catches quiet a bit of sludge, considering I'm NA. I used a big air compressor water seperator so I empty mine out like every 2,000 miles. Even then its not even half full. Hope this helps. At work If I remember I'll try to hook you up with pics of my setup when I get home.

Yup you guessed it. I drive like maybe 15 mins on the HWY and like 30 mins of city driving before I get to work. Sux, I was even considering getting rid of my Z cause I can't even have fun with it (man. trans). I can't drive fast, even on the HWY cause I always run into the a-hole on the left side lane who won't let me pass
But the oil catch can is very effective nonetheless.

If you are going to be drifting like you mentioned earlier, and you are choosing between a catch can and an oil cooler, I would choose the oil cooler. Thats my $.02! It would be worth having to add the little extra oil each time you do a change.

That's what I figured. It's not enough to cause concern, but you know, who likes oil in places other than where it should be? I have a burned in habit of checking my oil once a week, and between changes rarely see a difference in amount, hence my curiosity of using a catch can on an HR motor. Do you have pics of your install?

Mine was full (same size as yours) after a short 300-500 miles trip on my 03 G35.
