Just bought this 2004 Roadster Chrome Silver
Installed AEM short intake, Tanabe Medallion Y-back, ISC Coilovers, SPL F+R Camber arms, GramLights 57DR Gunmetal Blue +22 all around (no fender roll), Hankook Ventus Evo2 245/40 and 275/40.

Waiting a month for the suspension to settle before lowering but so far, pretty happy with the ride on the new setup.

Default i need to know more about wheels.

Hello. I am new here to the 350z forms. I wanna start doing track and drifting. but these stock rims on my 350z roadster suck. Im looking for performance 18" rims i have read alot of forms and for what i can understand i can fit 9.5 front 10.5 back with no issue or having to roll something. Sorry i dont know crap about tires or rims. Im not looking for looks im looking for something with great grip and improve my handling. Can someone tell me what offset they use that works and clears everything and what width might be best for what im looking for? Also what tired have you had experience with that worked good for you. Thank you.

if you are going to drift, do you really want that wide of a tire that you have to break loose?

I guess i wrote that wrong i need tire sizes for track and drifting. Like 2 different sizes. The reason being is because i just got a membership to Atlanta motorsports park in georgia and i get to goto the track twice a week and i wanna do time attack and learn how to drift but i dont honestly know sh8 about drifting. My car starts sliding when i take turns to sharp at 65mph my instructor told me i might need wider tires and a upgraded suspension. He also informed me that they have drifting classes now. So i thought that would be cool to check out and learn more. I just dont know what offsets work on my car and what dont. Yes i know i sound stupid. But i love driving track And i wanna get better all my family is 1/4 mile junkies me im a turning junkie thats why my wife bought me the memberships to amp

Get an RPF1 setup with 9.5 +15 front and 10.5 +15 rear, run 265/35-18 front and 285/35-18 rear. You will need a slight roll out back.

Take your stock wheels and run them for drift.

Okay guys so I'm new to the forums! But anyway I just picked a set of 18x10.5 wheels and I'm puzzled on what size tires to get so it will fit on my z with no rub. I'm currently on stock height and the offset on these is +15. Please and thank for who ever can assist me.

Mine with 57DR +22 9.5jj, 245/40f 265/35r. Stock height. I know wrong rear but the shop don't have any proper tire so I go with the best i could. I wanted 255/40f and 275/40r actually. So far no slip though so its ok I guess. Huge handling upgrade already compared to oem. This width that the Z should come out from factory imo.

Default can i use 245/45R18 for all 4 wheels?

Looking thru craiglist and found Blizzak 245/45R18 for 300 dollars for all four gently used in Kansas City. I think this is a really good deal because this tire have really good review. Can I install all 4 of this when winter come? Or do I have to buy 2 brand new 225 for the front end. I have 225 in front and 245 in back right now and the tire is mostly worn out. Thanks.

Holy spelling/grammar errors.

I'm running 275/35/18s on all four corners. I hope that answers your question.

Default 18x11 all around?

Hello all - please excuse my lack of knowledge. I just stumbled upon a potential good deal on a set of brand new wheels/tire package for $1k...

Cosmis Racing wheels are 18X11 with a +8 offset; Sumitomo tires are 295/30/18
Will the 295s will be good for the rears? If so then what do you recommend up front?

My Z is 100% stock. Thanks!

I put your tire size in the Tire size calculator and your is smaller than 245/45R18, the width of your tire is an inch or so bigger. thank you for the response.

Do not know much about snow tires (Hey, I live in California and Hawaii - 84degF+66% RH currently....and 2 blocks from the coast! ) but it's my understanding that a thinner contact patch is what's needed for full-season snow use. (Or buy a set according to how much snow you need to drive in.)

Read the articles on TireRack.com to get the correct (read: most effective and efficient) tires for your car. Like this: http://www.tirerack.com/winter/tech/index.jsp

But it's June in the US right so you have plenty of time.

PS I don't think anyone even SELLS snows where I am right now.

Yes my friends say MO winter is very bad and I need new tire. My car has bad thread wear, the inside worn out before the outer side. Nissan dealer say this is known problem with 04 because it wear out the inner part first. They realigned my car when I got it serviced. My friend tell me to buy good used tire for cheap if i could, so i'm looking for good used one.
